I am extremely disappointed with the conduct of Debbie Sitzer. We went to her office with good faith but she showed us that she will take any opportunity to bill you, even if you are not aware of it. We had our initial consulation with Debbie at her office and ended up paying over $250 for the 1 hour. She provided us with contact information for a trustee to reach out to for next steps. After our meeting with the trustee that she recommended we decided we wouldn't proceed forward, I informed the trustee to wait and hear back from us. The trustee as a professional curtesy decided on his own to reach out to Debbie to inform her which I would assume was a 5 minute call, max as we were not moving foward. We end up getting a bill from Debbie for $100+ for the call that the trustee made to her. I informed the trustee about the $100 charge for a decision he made without informing us and he was suprised as well. He reached out to Debbie who thought this type of charge was justified. She has now sent us for collections. It isn't about $100 expense but the moral of it all. Watch out. I never authorized Debbie to make or receive any further calls on my behalf and therefore never should I have been charged. Disappointed.

Debbie and her staff are completely amazing. I've been with her since moving to the area with the military about 5 years ago. After moving provinces again, away from the office I continue to use Debbie as my go to Accountant for all my financial questions. She recently helped me create a budget which has helped me immensely. Ask a question and you will get a clear and helpful answer. 5/5 would recommend to others.

I just had my taxes done with Debbie for the first time this year and I was very impressed. She sits you down in her office and show you everything on a monitor that is facing you. She did everything she could to get me back as much money as she could and it was way more than I have ever received from my taxes. Just signed up for Audit Shield insurance with Debbie. Within the week I got a letter from CRA. Now I don’t need to worry about any accounting fees! Debbie’s office will be able to handle it all.The insurance company approved the claim with no problems. Worry free!

For the last five years Debbie has been tending to year end taxes for my wife and I. She and her staff have always been attentive, considerate and helpful. Last year when we attended her for our tax briefing she noticed that I had some mobility issues and she inquired if I was experiencing an acute or a chronic problem. I said it had been going on for some time and she suggested that we should make application to the CRA for long term disability consideration.This year we did just that and were granted a refund accumulating a total of nine years of tax reassessments.
