I attended Taste of Hakka for take out. The service took about ten minutes from ordering to finished. I thought that was good and prompt. I ordered mango chicken and added vegetable noodles for an extra cost. For Hakka it was good for me, I don’t like tons of spice and there was good subtle spice. Overall I rate the food ok. Price … well I don’t think the value was good for the food I received. I attached pictures .. that cost me $20.00. I think a little costly for what I got.I have had Hakka from another place for a better price and more food. See reviewsSpring is in the air and elusive travelling panda is on the loose.

This place offers only takeout. Their service is quick as we got the food under 20 mins of ordering. The food is just ok, slightly under salted but they have decent portion size.

It is just an ok place to try. All other places I always had Bombay chicken dry by default but here it comes with gravy ($1 additional if we want dry). The hakka noodle was tasting plain. Chilli fish was better and fried rice was ok. Lunch special comes with soup but that was not of my taste.

I’m a regular customer at Hakka and I truly love their food. There just happens to be one situation that occurred with the food I ordered and it was not resolved. Last Sunday my husband ordered a few of the things and the “chilli Chicken “ .. we ate it as a family and then during the meal we noticed the chicken was “raw”. It was definitely uncooked and pink. We didn’t get the chance to call back on the same day, of course I wanted to call the next but Monday they are closed. So I ended up calling on Tuesday. When I called about my concern, I didn’t want anything out of it, just maybe an apology or something but I was told I cannot complain because I did not call back on the same day. They kept repeating that the chicken we cook is fresh and so on .. but if I’m a regular customer that is concern about having my family and I eat “ RAW CHICKEN”there has to be some proper response back. They took down my phone number and name for a call back to speak to management but they have not called about my concern.This was very scary because eating raw chicken is very dangerous.. lucky no one of my family ended up in the hospital.

Order anything on the menu, and you won’t be disappointed!! Amazing food and staff.We love chicken pakora, you don’t find it anywhere. They have great combos for 2 and 4. Portions are excellent, and it’s perfect value for your money.

I’ve ordered from this place a handful of times. The food is consistently good, and for the lunch specials, there is good value for money. The service is fine, not outstanding but fine.The atmosphere is questionable, it feels like a storage unit. I didn’t visit pre-COVID, but it seems like they once provided indoor dining, closed the dining area for COVID and never reopened it, but never cleaned it out either. Very odd first impression walking in.

My friend introduced me once to “Taste of Hakka” and I didn’t know that from that day, this restaurant will be my number one favorite in all Toronto. I have no words to describe how much I love their food. Chinese and Indian are too different cuisines but the common between those two is that they include so many spices, sauces, ingredients and flavor in their dishes which makes the food taste incredibly good. But, what’s better than a crazy mix of those two!!! Taste of Hakka has a very good size menu that include all sorts of different dishes from Noodles to rice to all sorts of meat. Honestly, I tried so many different dishes from their menu and they all blew my mind especially the crispy ginger beef, breaded chili chicken (Spicy), Special fried rice with chicken and shrimp served with Bombay sauce (Spicy) and the vegetable hakka chow mein. Be sure that their portions are massive and they are pretty good for sharing. In addition to all that, they have the fastest and the best service I’ve ever seen because the food is served exactly two minutes after ordering and their servers are so friendly and always smiling especially “Aman” who makes us laugh all the time. I Highly Highly Recommend this place!!!

Can in as recommend by my friend. I was greeted very kindly by the staff. They helped me navigate the menu. There are particular flavor profiles for each dish. I like it a bit more spicy and they were very accommodating. They have lunch specials, which is what I should have ordered. Went with the hakka Shanghai noodles and the crispy ginger beef. Added szechuan chili oil to both and it was delicious. I think they are used to people asking for more spice within the ethnic community. Take out only for now. Will come back. Very tasty!
