Very nice. Great beds and linens and friendly staff. Look forward to returning. Be prepared for steps, however. Nothing is on the ground floor and no elevator. We had heavy luggage and I'm recovering from knee surgery, but we managed.

Pro tip:-if you can, always get the suite over the standard room. Way more bang for your buck and only $2 more. No brainer.The nicest and most helpful staff I’ve ever had the pleasure of being serviced by. The nice lady that works the night shift deserves a raise and a promotion!!! I love her and she is so helpful.The hotel usually always has rooms, standard rooms definitely. The standard room is simple, big fridge, closet, iron and board, tv with Netflix (need a profile), comfy bed, etc. the Suite is definitely where it’s at, way bigger room and for only a couple bucks more (for me it was $84 for 1 night). I know this place is not a 5 start hotel like these terrible reviews expect. But for the money and convenience, you can’t beat it. The staff is nice. Oh and free 24hr WiFi plus laundry.

Dated hotel. Room not serviced since I arrived. No air conditioning. All exterior or doors lock from the outside so if one utilizes their smoking area you find yourself locked out of the building. The walls are extremely thin and you can hear everything going on in the rooms around and above you. The appliances in the room are dated and perform poorly and the cable has few options. The only good notes I have is that the bed is comfortable and I had a good first impression when I first met some of the staff. The next meeting I had with a staff member was when I went to the front desk to ask for a key because I had accidentally locked myself out of my room. The man there was gruff and borderline rude and then when he finally gave me another key he tossed it across the counter at me with looking and went back to whatever he was doing. If you’re considering staying at this place because it’s on base I recommend going elsewhere. There’s a couple of inns within 10 minutes of base with much better amenities and hospitality. I won’t be staying here again

Whitney made my stay 10x better. She helped me figure out a future reservation and made sure I was her top priority. She took down my name and number and the dates I was wanting / which room she gave me a call & texted me with all the information I was asking from her! Whitney made my stay at navy gateway in 100% better than expect. I’m hoping I see her again on my next stay. She definitely deserves a pay raise she went above and beyond for me.

Mrs. Mercy has been a huge help to our family. We cant thank her enough for the care she has given our family.

Nice clean comfortable rooms. Staff is friendly and helpful. Free laundry on second floor. No elevator so try to get a first floor room unless you like stairs.

I am on my third of seventh week, booking was easy enough. For an almost two month stay it would have been nice if they set me up with a kitchenette. The full size fridge is welcome but I only have a microwave as a means to prepare meals and when I wash my dishes I have to use the bathroom sink. The WiFi has been absolutely horrendous. My room gets cleaned at arbitrary times every day, granted I have very short work days and am back at my room early but I then go to the gym and out for a couple of hours and when I get back the room hasn’t been serviced. The rooms are close together and the walls thin enough you can hear whatever is going on in the hallway and other rooms at all hours especially if you have rowdy neighbors which is often. I’m hoping the next couple of weeks will be better but I’m not hopeful.

Christine at Front Desk is super condescending and I decided not to stay here just because of her attitude and unwillingness to help and be courteous.

TDY?? Pay the difference for an upgrade or a different location. No elevator, call ahead and request 1st floor. Better hotels on the other side of the island.Update: I was taller than the shower head, I'm only 5 foot 9 in. There was a hair, possibly a pube, in my coffee maker, picture shows it, look close, camera sucks. Hair all over towels. Water stank. Hot water not hot. No breakfast. Just felt dirty.Bed was comfortable, WiFi good speed. Cable TV, I don't really watch but had about 50 channels.$65 per night almost seemed too much, glad I didn't pay.

Avoid. You already knew that. The walls are paper thin, the room is depressing and the unnecessary full-size refrigerator is loud. Full carpet in the gym was funny though.
