Winchester Glen Retirement Community

The rental fees are ridiculous how do you expect a retired senior to play close to $5000 a month for independent living like they can’t even afford to buy groceries that’s ridiculous. I feel that’s highway robbery for seniors.

I took my mom for a tour last year as soon as restrictions opened and put a deposit down right away. The building is beautiful. Hallways are spacious with ample room for any seniors requiring a walker and lots of amenities including a theatre room, fitness room, library, 2nd floor bar area and patio, hair salon, bistro and many more. Staff are friendly and room prices are competitive based on similar retirement buildings. In addition, the nearby shopping area has all the essential stores required.

We visited and researched numerous retirement residences in the GTA.(Price, food, staff, location and amenities)WINCHESTER GLEN was just what we (my mom) was hoping/looking for.She has been there close to a year now and is safe and happy.I'm so glad we made the decision to move her into WINCHESTER GLEN and so is she.Call Sara today at Winchester Glen. The best years are still ahead of you.

My parents have recently moved in and are really enjoying their time in their new home. Sara, ( Sales Manager) has been very help and accommodating and is doing everything she can to help my parents become situated. The full time nurse on site ( Amy) has been great, dealing with any questions comments or concerns they've had and has helped with appointments and such.

My grandfather is in this amazing place! People are so friendly & happy to help! Feel so safe in this place! They take care of him! Food is also really good!

My Mom just moved in and loves it. The staff is friendly and helpful. She is looking forward to the activities and dining in the restaurant. She said it feels like home without all the yard work. The price per month is reasonable for all you get. Utilities are included, an emergency pendant and the programs, the pub, bistro.

I am a currently employed at Winchester Glen as a PSW. My experience has been very rewarding, challenging and for filling. Most importantly I appreciate the investment that this employer makes to educate their employees. Let me not forget the warm first day interview with Amy and Sara. Jennifer Stevens the Executive Director is amazing! making you feel like a member of the team. These ladies and all the staff here are so welcoming and caring.Our residents are the best!!! I look forward to coming into work each day to see them with a smile on their faces.Lastly, I cannot forget about our wonderful chefs and kitchen staff the food is heavenly here.Thank you Winchester Glen for having me as part of your team.

Absolutely beautiful, loving community! The planner truly took into consideration the retirement lifestyle needs including safety, all amenities and care of it's residences. So grateful for Winchester Glen Retirement!
