We used RMDS for the birth of our son In January (just writing this now cause, you know, newborn baby at home) and I cannot recommend them enough. Prior to our delivery Tracy and Nicole were great and made is feel relaxed and took time to address all our concerns and answer questions. They were kind, respectful, and personable the entire time. My wife was in labour a long time, over a couple days,and Tracy was there the entire time with us and was amazing! I am not exaggerating when I say I could not have survived the process without her. Her support and guidance was instrumental in my wife's care and allowed me to take the necessary breaks I needed in order to be at my best and be the supportive partner my wife needed me to be. Tracy stayed throughout the birth and after the birth until we were comfortable and settled. Her follow up visits and phone calls were also an amazing help in the subsequent days. She was available to answer any and all questions, no matter how trivial or silly I was skeptical about hiring a Doula, due to the cost and other factors, but it was 100% worth it and I would highly recommend this Doula team to anyone and everyone!

Words cannot describe how incredible my experience with Ridge Meadows Doula Services has been from start to finish. The services and tools they offer are outstanding and so beneficial especially as a first time mom navigating through pregnancy and postpartum. Dawn specifically has been such a blessing throughout this new period in my life. I can’t say enough great things about her. She went above and beyond to make sure I was supported emotionally and physically before, during and after childbirth. I would not have been able to be where I am today without her support and guidance. My husband and I will never not be using them for our future kids. Thank you RMDS!

This is a group of incredible woman who offer unbiased and unconditional support. My husband and I felt so confident going into our birth because of them. To have Cassandra there during our labour made us both feel at ease. Having a strong support for birth and after birth is so important and every woman deserves it! I would definitely trust these ladies and refer my closest family and frends to use them. We had put them on our registry as well which was so excellent, the best gift anyone could give!

We hired Ridge Meadows Doula Services for the birth of our first child in January 2020. We could not have been happier with our experience! Our meetings with Tracy and Nicole helped us feel prepared and excited for childbirth. We were all on the same page with my birth wishes and I felt like I had amazing support from them. My birth was not easy, but Tracy was the perfect doula and support person for me and my husband. She was an advocate and a calming presence in the labour room. When I ended up needing a c-section, she supported us during all of the decision making and helped keep my husband calm when I was taken away for prep. After the birth of our son, Tracy kept in contact with us and was a huge help with breastfeeding (even coming back to the hospital as my son was in the NICU)! In the weeks after our birth, Tracy checked-in with me and provided support and resources as needed. Tracy, we are incredibly grateful to you for the kindness, support and reassurance you provided us. We are forever indebted to you!

Their team is simply wonderful - it's fascinating how much knowledge they have! And they are always willing to go the extra mile to share very helpful evidence based information with you, and personalize their research based on your specific needs and case. Their prenatal appointments are extremely helpful and definitely prepare you well for your birthing experience.Personally, my birthing experience went nothing like planned, as I delivered sooner than expected - the team supported me from the start and really made sure I received the support I needed - they truly make a difference emotionally.Dawn was amazing during my birthing experience - she made sure I had everything I needed, and rushed to the hospital to make sure I was well supported. She offered me snacks, and even thought of bringing a reclining chair to the hospital so I can use it in the NICU!!! Like I said - going the extra mile.If you hire their team, I assure you that you won't be disappointed. Even though my birthing experience wasn't the one I planned initially, it still remains unique and I wouldn't trade it for the world. And part of it is thanks to Dawn and her team (and obviously my partner as well haha).

I was able to contact Nicole at 6:00pm when I started contractions, got the Tens Machine within the hour and gave birth all natural the next day because of the help from this machine. Nicole was very quick to respond, and very kind! When returning the machine, she made sure I had a few days to settle in with my newborn. Would recommend to anyone!!

We had a marathon labour and Nicole, Allison and Erin were ALL there in shifts. Love these ladies. Made me feel so much better having them there. Nicole also did placenta encapsulation for me and brought me a placenta smoothie at the hospital the next day to give me an energy boost ans assist with recovery. Very quick turnaround on this extra service and loved the keepsake umbilical cord heart! You ladies are top notch & I recommend you 100%. Thank you so much for helping us bring Austin into the world!

RMDS is an incredible group of women, each with unique strengths, knowledge, and expertise. Their education, empowerment, and contagious spirit & energy is unmatched in the industry. Having attended a few births for prenatal house calls, I am always humbled and amazed on the support they provide and the calming of their presence for not only the birthing person, but everyone in attendance. I still get goosebumps when I recall those visits. They also run amazing childbirth eduation workshops for the community to best prepare people for their birthing time. I recommend RMDS (birth doula, child birth education, postpartum doula, and placenta encapsulation) to all of my perinatal patients. A birth doula is an incredibly important member of a birth team and any expecting parents would be so supported and lucky to have a RMDS doula with them during their special time.
