The most disqualified assistant manager or just the manager. This place has some issue that’s been ongoing. Their products have no price tag on the back, which means prices reflects on the ones on shelves but price tags for some items are missing, especially expensive ones. I don’t know if they did it on purpose as their sale strategy. The manager blames that customers are the ones that are responsible to ask for prices of each items and get price confirmation from him before we pay for them. He also needs to learn how to have appropriate conversation with customers, not arguing with them. He doesn’t even try to solve issues, he just fight over a customer. He has such a great talent of making his customers overwhelmed.

The style of the OOMOMO is similar dollar shop. Most of the products are around $2,75 but the quality looks better. The shop is clean and tidy. Stuffs are polite and ready to help customers looking for special items to buy. With the help of the stuff, I bought two packs of ' lock pin '. It's a good place to hang around with family on every Sunday.

I had been enjoying visiting the store with its variety of goods until today when I received the worst customer service ever! Bought a small flippable plastic dustbin can 10 days ago which was completely sealed with plastic covering so I didn't open the covering to check if it was functioning, assuming that there wouldn't be any issues. However, when I opened it back home, one of the hooks on the flip was off: the flip cover didn't function at all. I didn't go back to the store immediately as it was closed already. I didn't want to visit the store for the return alone in the next few days so I waited until today when I did my groceries nearby. When I brought up the issue to the cashier, he refused any refund bluntly pointing to the no return" notice at the bottom of the receipt. I argued that it was already broken when I opened it first time at home. He called his manager who came out and said it was too long ago. How could I prove that it was not broken by myself? She said the return was only possible if I opened it right away after purchase and found it broken. There was nothing she could do. Be sure to check everything thoroughly before you take anything out of the store. There is zero trust on the customer! I might have been spoiled by other stores with superb customer service to take it for granted that it is table stake for a store to survive. Apparently I was wrong."

Great store with huge selection of inexpensive essential, household items, etc. It's like Dollarama but better with more choices. Love some of their unique items and Japanese stuffs. Clean and well organized shelves.

The manager Winson should be awarded as the most provoking manager.I understand that there's a no refund exchange policy, and I was politely explaining how the two products I bought have misleading information on the package. (See the picture: Sponge holder that has a magnet to hold on to the sink. I tried a few sinks here but none worked. Maybe the sinks in Japan are made of different materials.) I was politely asking for possibility to refund or exchange. He said he could refund one of the products. I asked why is it just one? He sarcastically said you should ask why is one even refunded. I said this packaging is misleading, I can't use it and it's a waste. I don't need the money but you can take this and sell it again. He said there's a bin outside you can go throw it away. What a great customer service representative! And I agreed with the previous comment, he is just too good at gaslighting customers.Omomo, seriously look at what management you're having.

Lots of Japanese snacks and drinks choices. One thing that got my attention was how cheap their charging cables was! I bought a USB C for 3$ whereas if you go to other places like bestbuy, shoppers or London drugs, the prices of these can go up to 10 times more expensive.

I am very disappointed in the service at this location not only did they have improper shelf tags on their shelves that did not properly represent the prices of their product, but they also had an inventory sign located in the centre of the store instead of the front of the store and expected customers to be able to see it, even if they weren’t going through that section They then argued the price of a product with me after charging me seven dollars for a letter set where the shelf tag said $2.75 then proceeded to tell me that their inventory sign that was placed randomly in their store said that if there’s no price on the back then it’s reflected on the shelf tag I didn’t ask them how they expected people to see this when it is literally in a random spot in the centre of the store. It’s not even high enough that you could see it from across the store on the pillar they eventually gave me 10% off of my whole purchase which was two dollars and then after I left, I check the back of the product that I purchased and there was no price and then when I called them to have a conversation with them about it because they technically still owed me money back , they decided to argue with me again I will never shop at this location ever again. This is the most horrifying customer service experience I’ve ever had and I work in retail. Not only did they also try to tell me me being a Japanese person and my boyfriend also being from Japan that this was Japanese style I was so horrifically offended not to mention the fact that my boyfriend had to argue the difference in the level of customer service between what they were doing, and what was expected in Japan. They tried to blame their disorganization on our culture.

A medium sized store of the Oomomo chain of Japanese style store carries a range of freshly designed household goods, stationery, toys and snacks in a spacious, pleasing environment. The story selectively carries mid-range to higher end products compared with the other dollar stores in the mall, with good deals to be found. Staff is friendly and helpful even while rushed to stock items no yet in place since their recent opening.
