Had the spicy noodles and spicy wontons. Both were cheap and really tasty. The spicy noodles had a strong mala flavour. The spicy wontons were loaded with tons of peanuts and laid on a bed of bean sprouts, which elevates the wontons to a new level. Some of the wontons even had shrimp.Peanuts are amazing in their dishes, and removing them is a sin. Don't come here if you have a peanut allergy.

Located in the Crystal Mall food court, this unassuming food stall serves some award winning dumplings and noodles.Displayed near the cashier is a sign with their top 5 items. We came for the spicy dumplings that came highly recommended and listed at #1. Following up at #2 were their spicy noodles which we ended up ordering as well.I consider myself able to handle spicy foods so we decided to order the maximum level of spiciness for both dishes. Wow, not only were both super spicy but very flavourful too! The spicy noodles had the signature Szechuan peppercorn numbing along with the nice fried chili oil taste and ended up being my preferred option even though there was no meat in the dish.I definitely recommend trying this place if you are a fan of spicy Northern Chinese food. The portions were substantial and very affordable.

I had their Dan Dan Noodles, and it was great for the price. It was $10 and you get quite a big bowl.I had medium spicy, but I would like to try the spicy one next time since it wasn't spicy enough.

Ordered the House Hot Noodles #7 twice and I absolutely love it!I love spicy foods and I had medium spicy and it’s still tolerable for me (almost too spicy lol). I like the crunchiness of the peanuts combined with the spicy noodles.When you do take outs, ask to separate the noodles and the sauce. They’ll charge for extra container but it’ll be worth it!

My daughter and I had cravings for dumplings again so we decided to try this place out inside Crystal Mall. It's only a few stores down from my other review - Shanghai Dimsum House. The GOOD: the juicy steamed dumplings are better tasting than the ones down the hall (kid confirmed). More so, they have 6 dumplings for $8.75 whereas the better known place has 5. The MEH: steamed dumplings have no juice instead so are bland without dipping the sauce. That said, my daughter didn't care for the dipping sauce.After she finished both sets of dumplings, my daughter asked for one steamer of dumplings from Shanghai Dimsum House - yup, confirmed Chao's juicy dumplings are better (last pic; dumplings in steamer) .

Great Dan-dan noodles with authentic taste. Watch out for how spicy you order as the noodles can get very spicy.

When you call yourself the wonton king, you'd better have a great product! They did not disappoint. First item on the menu was a dry spicy wonton. On a bed of bean sprouts, hot aromatic chili oil and peanuts on top. $10 and I was really impressed!

Ordered the Dan Dan Noodles and they were amazing. We got them medium spicy, but I think we could get them spicy next time, as I didn't find them too hot.
