We were a bit confused with the late night happy hour when we arrived. Originally advised it was half price appetizers and sharing plates, we were provided the full menu. Mid way through our meal, we were told our orders weren't part of the special and there was actually another small menu with various items for happy hour. We kept with our original order albeit upset they didn't let us know beforehand and got some additional items off the new menu. Food was good, service was off.

We enjoyed happy hour items on a Saturday afternoon and then an octopus and Chorizo dish. It's a nice spot and happy hour was fun. I think next time we will come to check out dinner. The drink prices can't be beat! The happy hour was a bit heavy for me as there are a number of fried foods and snacks but the artichokes were delicious! There are quite a few items to try. We had a lovely view of the parliament buildings. I appreciate you can book reservations online.

Went here for a staff event during dine around - not sure if we just came on a bad night or what happened, but had some of the worst service. Requested a gluten-free menu when my colleagues were ordering (didn't have an opportunity beforehand), waitress didn't come back to take my order until I asked her as she brought everyone else's appetizers.Food was alright, wasn't quite as described. Drinks were good, but pretty expensive.Lack of service kind of killed the experience however.

The ambiance is fantastic.Great spot for dates and larger groups, there are a few areas slightly separate from eachother to creat different dining experiences.Our water was very good and made some solid recommendations.The food was good we enjoyed everything, as a group of 5 we shared a few applies and a few main courses and 2 deserts.None of it was disappointing and a few things really stood out. Our favorites were the mixed appie plates, the truffles and the Spanish old-fashioned to drink.I recommend it and will return.

One of my top three favourite restaurants in town. The only thing I don't love about it is the decor, which feels like an average hotel restaurant. However. The brussels sprouts are heaven; the steak with gentleman's butter" is the best steak I've ever had (all four times); the gnocchi is tender

Best Happy Hour in town! Delicious half price tapas and $4 glasses of wine! From 4-6pm and best of all.... there's a secondary happy hour, same deal... from 9-close. This is one of Victoria's best kept secrets! Service is impeccable, food is incredible, atmosphere is relaxing!

Great service, great atmosphere but the menu is lacking. This is definitely a place to go if you want to have a proper dinner with a glass of wine but if you are just looking for a great cocktail and appetizers, I wouldn't recommend this place. Usually, I'd give 4 stars but even your drink menu was lacking and so I had to settle for a glass of wine. It's not bad by any means but I wasn't satisfied with my last visit.

Appetizers were extremely salty, especially the beef carpaccio. For mains we had duck confit and rabbit. It tasted good. The rabbit was tender. Portions are big for this part. Desserts were delicious. The three stars are because of the service. The host was unfriendly, giving the impression that we were just another table to squeeze somewhere" and the waiter was just doing the minimum needed to serve us. The place looked nice. It was my first time there and I highly doubt i would go again. It wasn't worth it given the price."

Absolutely fantastic evening. Slightly uneven at the start with the cicchetti - just a few bland plates - but after that the rest of the meal was stellar. Solid cocktails, excellent BC wine selection, the pasta and seafood mains were the epitome of comfort food with style. The carbonara may be the best I've ever tasted. The service was relaxed but professional. Our server didn't miss a beat. We'll be back.

Needed a drink and some food and all the other surrounding restaurants were busy from cruises.We decided to try here. . . Music was fun but not over powering and when the mojito came I have to say it was the best one I've ever had. Period.We ordered a fancy burger and it was hot, juicy and flavourful. Yes it was $17 but is was the best burger I've had from the Paliser in Calgary to the Empress to Hy's in Winnipeg. So glad I came here tonight :-)
