We have used Jim and Car Smart for a number of of years. He saves time and money taking all of the hassle of car leasing away. Jim has access to all makes and models and provides fantastic insight and recommendations to help make purchase and leasing decisions. Once we selected our new ride, Jim shows up at our house with the new car, walks through all of the paperwork and helps get you comfortable with all of the features. I've recommended Jim to a number of people and don't know why you'd go anywhere else.

Jim Davidson has provided service to myself and my family members that go far beyond anything I expected. We have leased 6 vehicles from Jim and in every case he has delivered exactly what he promised at a price that was better than anything I could negotiate at a dealership. His service includes delivering the new vehicle to my house, setting up the hands-free connections, setting up the garage door openers, changing the license plates and spending the time to familiarize you with the new vehicle.Upon return of the vehicle, Jim picks it up and then negotiates with the company to mitigate any costs that may be assessed due to wear and tear on the vehicle. My wife and now have used Jim's services to acquire four new cars over the past 12 years. Like others have mentioned, the fee is well worth the time saved having to research cars, negotiate with dealers, return old cars and then pick up the new one. He takes care of everything, including negotiation, applying whatever discounts he can find, taking care of getting new license plates (and getting refunds for old ones), delivering the new car, and taking the old leased car back. On one occasion, we didn't have to pay him a fee because we were willing to get an older model of a car (and presumably the dealer paid him to make the deal).Most recently, we informed him that we would not be replacing our second car with a new leased vehicle. Not only did he arrange to make sure we weren't hassled with returning it to the dealer, he was able to find someone to buy out the lease from the dealer , resulting in us receiving a decent size cheque in return! Totally unexpected and if I had not got him involved with this, we would have received nothing.If you have an idea of what car you want, and want to rid yourself of all the time it takes in the car buying or leasing process, definitely definitely definitely use Jim and his company's services. It is probably some of the best money we've spent on anything!!

My husband and I have worked with Jim through the last decade with at least 6 cars purchased and / or leased. Jim's value proposition is solid: he knows his cars, will give honest advice about makes and models, what perks are worth it and those that are not and he will suggest makes we have not considered. His fees are reasonable and the new car is delivered to the front door. I especially appreciate his knowledge of buying: a few times we have used dealers outside the GTA which got us a better price. His network is terrific. Jim is also open to suggesting ancillary services: snow tire purchase, body work etc. I have no hesitation recommending Jim.
