Update part 2: we got a call from Sean apologizing for the issues. He sent a couple guys back to put in some molding. Made a huge difference and extremely professional and kind. I love the insert and appreciate all they did to correct the issues.Disclose IF YOU HAVE CATS! We purchased an insert beginning of November 2022. Sean stated install before Thanksgiving and would take a few hours. They came 11/22 and didn't complete job due to missing part. Leaving my fireplace in disrepair for holiday. We had to call several times to follow up. Once, no show, second they came and left immediately due to cat allergy and nowfor third time plus thousands of dollars still no insert installed. We paid for electrician and permit plus paid them in full. Terrible customer service and doesn't respect customer time. I am beyond frustrated at the experience. UPDATE: CHIMNEY CHAP reached out after a few calls from my husband. They said they could be at our home in 20 minutes to complete job. Two guys came and installed fireplace and completed chimney work. My husband said they were nice and professional as well as informative. However no call from owner or manager to apologize or to explain numerous issues. The biggest problem was lack of communication and not keeping appointments. The final product is fine but the fit isn't perfect as we need some kind of trim. Whatever at least it's functional.

Came out and did a thorough inspection of our chimney. Mike, I think, was really friendly and personable. He let me know in layman's terms what was wrong eith our chimney and what needs to be repaired and replaced along with the actual pictures.

If I could give this company 10 stars I would. If you need your chimney serviced Chimney Chap is the company to call. They helped me out of a very bad situation in which I was scammed (I had a leaking chimney). I reached out to Chimney Chap and Holly was my first contact. She really went above and beyond. There is a lot more to this story but it is too long to post here. To sum it up, I have never received the level of service from any company as I received from Chimney Chap. I was beginning to think my situation was a hopeless cause until Scott the owner came to my house to review the situation and assured me they would be able to solve my problem. The entire staff at the Chimney Chap were all very knowledgeable, pleasant, helpful and determined to solve my problem. I would like to thank Scott, Holly, Jim, Andrew, Ryan, Paul and I believe there were a couple others but I don't remember their names. Oh, and aside from other things my chimney had to be rebuilt from the roof line up to repair the damage caused by the scammers and Andrew did an awesome job, it looks so nice now! I highly recommend them and I am now a customer of theirs for life. Thanks to all the Chimney Chap staff who helped resolve my situation.

James S came out to inspect our fireplace and chimney due to some reported issues. He was courteous and knowledgeable and also thorough and patient in discussing his findings.

Chimney Chap & all of the staff have been wonderful to work with! Thanks to their knowledge & expertise I now have a safe, highly efficient & beautiful new chimney liner & wood stove! I would highly recommend them !!What started out as a chimney cleaning ended up being a life saving appointment because my chimney was in very bad shape! I knew my woodstove was old but it was also in very poor shape. With the help of these people & extensive research, I ended up back at their store & made the investment! Our pellet stove was no longer igniting so gave Chimney Chap a call. Kris has just finished servicing it and all it needed was a good cleaning. He also gave us good maintenance info since we are pellet stove newbies. We will forever be using this company for our pellet stove needs.

We had Chimney Chap install our woodturning stove. The installers were professional and courteous. When it came time to have it serviced, James Seery arrived at the appointed time and did a thorough job cleaning the the stove. We highly recommend this company.

Bought an encore wood stove from this outfit. I ended up having them do the installation as well seeing I had additional work that needed to be done for it to be installed safely. They noticed a lot of chimney work that needed to be done that I never even noticed myself. They sent me images of all the issues and were very informative of what needed to be done. We’re very happy with the start to finish job they did. We’ll be using them for regular cleanings and future checkups. Thank you!

Recently bought/installed a wood stove with The Chimney Chap. The sales team were great, and Paul & his install crew were AMAZING during the install and initial setup. Nothing but great things to say from start to finish!! We love our stove & the team at The Chimney Chap. Highly recommend!

We just had our fireplace gas insert installation completed, and it's been a great experience, from the start of the process through the end. The showroom is very nicely done, and we were able to look through the options and have all our questions answered by Casey. Even better, our installation happened earlier than scheduled, and Paul was extremely knowledgeable and made sure everything was done properly, including sorting through a couple of unexpected issues. We will be using The Chimney again to redo our other fireplaces.
