Waaban Crossing
The Waaban is such a blessing. It's so much faster for all of us living in the East End to get to the West End now. I absolutely love that it's here now.

I live nearby this bridge and it's a blessing. I'm new to running and this is first place where I ran outside. I usually run on the treadmill but the feeling of freedom you get on running on this bridge is lasting, I don't think I'll run on the treadmill anytime soon even though it's winter. It's a great place to run as the view is beautiful and not too many people are on the walkway at any time from my experience. My best time running across this bridge so far (which is 1.2km long) is 6:31 minutes. It's not good but I hope to improve!

Open finally! Cuts down on getting across if you usually have to weave around downtown Kingston. The only problem is the intersection on the west end of the bridge. It's very tight and I can see accidents happening.

Bridge opened today. It's a very smooth ride aside from expansion joints, which can't be helped. It has connected West and East kingston, overdue.11 minutes from the Gore Road shopping plaza to Costco. ExcellentCuts the drive across down in half easily. Long time coming!

Excellent crossing experience. However, Google maps should be updated to indicate the start and endpoints of the bridge.

Despite the name that no one will ever use, this bridge is badly needed. Wish it was 4 lanes wide but anything is better than relying on downtown or the 401 which always conveniently has an accident between Montreal and 15.

It was fun to have a preview of the bridge and be able to walk the pathway with other curious Kingstonians.
