Been here twice...One of the best sushi place so far. Added this place to my favorite sushi restaurant. ❤️Staff is so friendly.. place is clean and neat.Food is very delicious.. Call 911 " is a MUST TRY Sushi."

Have never seen such generous slices of fresh sashimi. The salmon melts in your mouth. The butterfish was a nice discovery. The miso soup was outstanding.The bulgogi was perfectly marinated with a sweet and savoury sauce. Beautifully presented with sushi and wonderful sides including salad, potatoes and heat shaped rice.Highly recommend this gem!

So, the fish was so fresh, I found myself questioning what I had eaten before as “sushi”. The flavour profiles were clean, well defined and crisp, the portions were ample, and the service at the he takeout was patient and courteous. Paired with a nice white wine.. (mic drop) welcome to Port Hope.

Was another great visit. The most appealing reason to visit is the food. Absolutely fresh and made to order. Quite a but of take out while we were. We had the hot roles which were not hot and sushi.Like everything, always room for improvement. They absolutely deserve 5 stars but I recommend upgrading the seating and layout from the old deli.Regardless of the decor, absolutely worth dining in or take out. You will not be disappointed.

Amazing!! Hands down the best sushi in Port Hope/Coburg. I’ve dined in twice and both times the service was excellent. Forewarning, the rolls are big!! They usually cut regular rolls into 6, I asked them to cut mine into 8. The rolls have lots of filling and the perfect amount of rice. The tofu pocket appetizer is also fantastic! And definitely try their black sesame ice cream for desert. It’s really different and very good!

visit: around/before november of 2022.changed review to 1 star to recalibrate other reviews made (made 2 reviews today, may 2nd 2023)very limited selection. if you're used to eating japanese or korean within the gta, don't expect much. 70 for 2 people is a little off.. small town. maguro sashimi has a different mouthfeel as opposed to other places.. staff were nice.

As an avid sushi lover I have to say $9 for 6 salmon pieces is quite absurd! You can order an avocado and salmon roll for $8 though? I’ve been to places all over Toronto and have rarely spent $9 on a single roll especially just salmon! To add it was not even fresh it was chewy! Definitely won’t be ordering again at these prices! The economy is not to be blamed for this now! Just the owner who is price gauging.You can say the staff are great just wish it reflected in the price and quality.

First time trying this Japanese Sushi house in Port Hope. Placed an order for pick up and gave time for eta. Walked in and was greeted with a smile. Place was busy on a Friday evening. Everything was very clean and open style kitchen where you can see your food being prepped. Great side portions for what you pay and the quality was amazing!!! Everything had great fresh tasting with the right spices. My new favourite place and will be back again!! You guys are amazing!!

Such an amazing discovery in Port Hope! Sushi is generously sized and the torched butterfish melts in your mouth. We also tried the salmon peno poppers and it took jalapeño poppers to the next level. The place is small for dine in with just a few tables but very clean. Great staff, great experience - we will definitely be back.
