Great fully fenced in dog park.Beautiful surroundings. Places for owners to sit. Super clean. Lots of poop bags available.Happy friendly place!

A great gated dog park if you have a nervous dog that might run if spooked. Decent size, can handle big and small dogs. A good place for meetups.

We love taking our dog here. When you walk up to the park, it has double gates for extra security to make sure a dog can't sneak by. Once you are inside the park, there's lots of trees and places for dogs to sniff around and enjoy. There are also nice chairs and tables so we can sit while our dog plays around. It's not a huge park, which we prefer because we can always have our eye on our dog and he can't get out of sight. There's also a nice duck pond and walking path that can be observed from inside the park or you and your dog can enjoy a walk after your visit. There's also access to a public washroom but I didn't use it so I can't comment on the cleanliness.

Great dog park - bring my little guy here once in a while. The turf is great and they have some chairs and tables to sit at.

Our favourite dog park around the downtown core. The space is pretty small, but it's very well maintained and double gated for easy access. The dogs are generally super friendly - it's been a great place to take our puppy as she grows up.

Very small dog park in East Village. It has artificial turf and tables and chairs to relax. Good for small dogs.

Great little area but as was mentioned by another person it is a touch small. It could easily be double that size and wouldn't affect the surrounding area, which is mostly a pak anyways.Other than that it has friendly people, friendly dogs, and they have extra poop bags in case you forgot yours, which I never do!....Definately a must check either ways.

Could be a little larger. But good for the area. Astroturf keeps it clean here and our dogs too. All dogs welcomed, but primarily has smaller condo" sized dogs here."

Fun little off leash dog park downtown. Always an interesting mix of dogs here and great owners.

This park can be a little too small for most dogs, and we've had many days we've gone where there are no dogs. This is the downside to being in an offshoot near downtown - Calgary has a fairly dead downtown life (who wants to live or work in a concrete valley full of skyscrapers) but there are some condo owners nearby that sometimes bring their dogs. The dogs here are good though, friendly, nice enough people. But it just is hit or miss if there are dogs, and they tend to be on the very small side. The astro-turf does work, and having some obstacles with painted targets is nice. Dogs do run and play. The one benefit is when the park isn't being used, you are near the river and can still take your dog on a longer walk just without the social experience.
