Tam made a custom dress for my graduation in 2021 (modelled after an existing dress I was unable to purchase) and altered a dress for my convocation. Both dresses fit perfectly (I couldn't even point out exactly where my convocation dress was tailored, it just went from not fitting to fitting like a glove) and look wonderful! Thanks Tam!

This was supposed to be my wedding dress! I took it to Tam Tailor and when I went back 2 weeks later to pick it up (one week before my wedding) this is what they sent me home with. When I picked it up Tam was out of town. When I saw what they had done to my dress I told the young man I wasn't going to pay them because they destroyed the dress. He said okay... Okay!!

I honestly can’t give this company even just one star. (You have to give at least one star on here) We took a couple of costumes to add fringe and ribbon to.We picked him because the website said he does costumes. When we called whoever answered the phone told us they can have them done in the allotted time, however when we got there the gentleman told us he couldn’t do it and then quickly changed his mind and told us he could to it.We had another costume with us that he could follow. We laid out the fringe on the costume and he told us he understood.When we received the picture of what he did it was not what we discussed. He then did it again. Again it wasn’t what we discussed not even close. We had also given him a hand drawn picture of what we wanted.At this point we needed the costume in two days and we still needed to add the jewels.We picked it up, only to be greeted with rudeness. He never apologized to us. And on top of that he charged us $44.80 to sew the ribbon on (by hand).As a good business owner he should of apologized and not charged us for the little work he did because we were left to do it ourselves. He should of told us he couldn’t do the job or he didn’t understand.We are very disappointed in the lack service.He is probably a good tailor but he should not advertise costumes.

This has been my spot for tailoring suits, jeans & shirts since I can remember. The craftsmanship is great. Recently I have noticed the price increase significantly with a lower quality of care, however. This is represented by a $100 charge which was historically $60, and a $50 price at pick-up which was quoted at $40 at drop-off - and each time I had to get my clothing item re-tailored due to less than satisfactory work. It's sad to say - but it might be time to move on.

I purchased my wedding dress from a discount rack - it was a great deal, but size 14 (I'm a 6). The lady in the store convinced me it would be no problem to take in, but I now know otherwise. (Side note: never take advice from someone who's trying to sell you something!) Thankfully, Tam saved the day! He essentially had to rebuild the entire top, but in the end I had a dress which fit beautifully.The moral of the story is: don't buy a dress that's 8 sizes too big for you, but if you do, Tam can probably help you out. :)

i would highly recommend tam!!! i brought in a pair of jeans to get the waist taken in and a button fly swapped out for a zipper, and he got it done very quickly before i had to go on a trip, and the craftsmanship is amazing, it doesn’t even look like it’s been modified. pricing was fair for the speed and the quality! i will definitely come here again!!

Can't say enough good things about Tam. I've taken casual clothes to him, as well as dress clothes, and he always knocks it out of the park. He even made me a custom 3-piece suit from scratch a couple years ago, and it is the best one I own, hands down. I'll include a photo. Even more important than his tailoring skills, he's just a good person. Very caring, professional and pleasant to deal with. He does a lot of charity work as well which says a lot.
