Leon's Boot Alterations and Shoe Repair

Custom tall riding boots purchased for my daughter did not fit properly at the top of the calf from the time they arrived. Sent back to the maker to be stretched; still did not fit when they came back. Tried again locally and still no luck. Thankfully found Leon and he did an absolutely stellar job widening the top so that they would fit while maintaining the design elements of the boots. They now fit perfectly! While the repair is not visible while mounted, it simply fits right in with the look of the boot when unmounted. Finding someone with his caliber of craftsmanship who will work on riding boots is no easy task. Fabulous customer service! He was able to turnaround the repair in time so they would be ready for a show. Custom boots are not inexpensive, so having them altered to fit has been so great! Will be sure to return if a future need arises. Thank you Leon!!

Best shop ever. Resoled my Hoka Speedgoat 5 for €30 on the day. They look like new now and I saved myself 150€ in buying a new pair for continuing the Camino de Santiago!!!

Great communication by email, Leon by far exceeded my expectations! Very affordable, A true craftsman. Very friendly and professional. I stopped in Vaughn to see Leon on a trip overnight to Toronto. Early the next morning, on my way out of the city, he called, hoping to catch me before i left for he had already completed the alteration! Unfortunately i had already gone, so he promptly shipped them to me, as we had arranged. I will definitely be using his services again and recommending him to my friends

I cannot express enough how thankful I am for the alterations Leon made to my boots. Along with his attention to detail, he was kind, respectful, and professional. Leon is absolutely amazing. I was searching for someone to narrow the calves of my boots when I came across his business and I am so glad I did. I’m never going anywhere else for boot alterations. He even offered to have them done the same day! His pricing is fantastic and I will definitely be coming back in the future.

I can’t say enough good things about Leon’s shoe repair shop. My boots were too wide and had a very noticeable gap at the top of the shaft. I looked all over my area for someone to narrow them. I finally went online and found Leon’s-all the way in Toronto, Canada (I live in North Carolina) After reading all the positive reviews, I knew they were the ones who could help me. They were very responsive and professional during our email communication. I sent them my boots before Christmas and even with the busy holidays and COVID, they were able to narrow my boots and return them to me in a very timely manner.The boots came back to me perfectly altered to my satisfaction. I highly recommend them. The price was very reasonable but I had to pay more for international postage but it was worth it.

I dropped a pair of new boots that were a bit too tight. Leon did an excellent job and now I can enjoy my new boots without previous discomfort. Leon is very polite which is an additional bonus! I will definitely return if I need this type of service in the future!
