Urban Square

I had an amazing experience living here with Sidney as the property manager. She was always diligent in addressing concerns and did so with empathy and kindness. I’d be happy to leave in any building managed by Sidney Koehn again. Thank you sooo much for all the great work you do, it doesn’t go unnoticed.

The communication is a breath of fresh air. Emails and texts are responded to and any questions or concerns were met! The building offered everything we were looking for such as underground parking, pet friendly and in suite laundry! The move in was smooth and it’s very clean for its size! The staff here work hard and it shows! Thanks for having us

There are so many great things to describe this building throughout our tenancy here. This affordable and pet-friendly building has everything you need. Our spacious 2 bed/2 baths and one of them is an ensuite. A huge balcony with a nice view of the Legislative, and the sunrise/sunset view is amazing! The heated underground parking is extra but is also cheaper than others which is awesome because our car is secured and no scraping off snow. The building is clean and well maintained everywhere you go. The property manager, Sidney is super nice and very accomodating/hospitable. She treats the tenants with compassion and care. She always addressed our concerns the same day, if not the next business day. There are security guards watching out for the overall safety of the tenants and the building. I can't forget to mention the extra ammenities such as a fitness gym(a small but a decent gym that has everything you need), lounge area, quiet/study room, bike storage and the best one of them all is the Theatre Room where you can invite your friends and families for a nice movie night without having to go to the Cinema Theatres. I would highly recommend this building to anyone looking for a place to stay.

From the ease of the application process to the ease of the move in itself, low stress all around. Urban Square features lots of nice amenities. Friendly staff, pet friendly building, great suite layouts.

Hellowhen we first looked at the place we met Sidney and she has so much patience with us we went back to look again to confirm an apartment because of course we wanted to make sure because we stated our next place is going to be for a long time :) and she always made time for us in her busy schedule she is easy going and always very welcoming, very approachable always smiling and on top of anything that may come up. I have encountered nothing short of excellent service, provision of information and assistance from both managers at the complex. They assisted and was there to guide every step of the way and promptly responded to every enquiry I had. Kind and welcoming team.On another note the complex itself is well maintained and appears to have been built the day before; a very clean and well kept building.

Leaving this review for Centurion. I moved into the building when it first opened to the public, might’ve even been the first tenant to occupy space here, and since we’ve seen the building undergo management by three different companies. The first was Ironclad, then Capital Property, and now we’re with Centurion. The quality of the place has improved SIGNIFICANTLY since they took over. If I were to rent elsewhere I’d definitely seek another place managed by Centurion.

PLEASE READ! I have lived in this building for about a year and a half. In that time my car has been broken into twice (in the underground parking lot that is “monitored” by security), and my bike stolen from a locked bike room inside the building in broad daylight. The building has be juggled around with ownership 3 times. First owned by ironclad, then capital management, and most recently centurion. Each time there is a break in in the building management essentially blames the tenants, saying that to prevent future theft get better locks for your belongings, keep nothing in your cars, ect. They do nothing to help resolve the situation. The first few months of living here the building was well maintained and clean, but with the changes in management the cleanliness was severely declined.What makes all of this so frustrating is I actually love where I live. The location is perfect, the amenities in my suite are fabulous, my neighbours are friendly, the rent is affordable enough.But the management is horrible. Often when I’ve gone into the office to address a complaint I am met with hostility and a lack of empathy. If they don’t have the answers to my questions, they shrug it off and it’s no longer their problem. There’s constantly people moving in and out of this building, after only living here for a few months. I really want to stay living here but the cons are starting to outweigh the pros.

A modern and clean property that is well managed. Property manager Sidney had been overseeing our renting process and she was such a wonderful hostess. She was extremely attentive and went above and beyond to ensure our needs! We also got help from assistant manager Alisa who was just as helpful and cheerful. A special thanks to Fitsum who helped us with fixing everything as we needed. He is a professional! Lastly, the underground parking is such a huge relief and it is so well maintained and always clear from snow. A great place to stay in Downtown!
