West Coast Medical Group

Dr. G. Dillon is my primary care physician providing service at the West Coast Medical Group. I find her to be an exceptional doctor. She is knowledgeable and up to date, able to explain complex medical concepts and procedures in an easy to understand way, and has the uncanny ability to get to the root of the problem and partner with you to get you healthy. Her follow up is great - and she has great connections within the medical community. The few times I’ve needed specialist care -the people she has referred me to have also provided great service. I understand she is also actively involved in the larger medical community and the community at large.Perhaps the most important piece is that during a pandemic, she has always provided positive efficient care. Adjusting to changes (i.e. phone consults, longer wait times, staffing challenges) is difficult for us as patients, but I’m sure it's been a nightmare for those who take care of our health. Dr. Dillon has always been clear and transparent about treatment wait times and has found alternatives for me when services have been delayed.Dr. G. Dillon is also the doctor in charge of the complex care for my elderly parent who is a retired nurse. I am so grateful for the doctor/patient relationship Dr. Dillon has with my parent. Dr. Dillon was able to win this patient over with her kind and friendly manner coupled with her confident and knowledgeable care - reducing my own stress as my parent's caregiver.There are many complaints here on google maps reviews about the administrative service levels. I’ve also experienced challenges in wait times to answer the phone and other delays myself. I can only say that I believe those challenges are pandemic related and include an increase in no-shows and other situations beyond their control. I feel once policies and procedures in the existing healthcare system are addressed to support our primary care physicians - only then service levels can improve. My anecdotal evidence when comparing medical experiences with others is that the West Coast Medical team are doing a wonderful job with the challenges they face.

The Dr’s here are great! It’s very unfortunate that their clinic is not run very well. I know other clinics where the patients can see their Dr’s within 3-5 days but it always takes 2 weeks just to get a phone call at this clinic! Something needs to be fixed!

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Timothy for around 7 years now. I’ve found him to be thorough, friendly, and helpful in diagnosing issues and providing treatment. He is serious enough to trust him, but amicable and has a good sense of humour which makes everything easier.It’s true that the front desk could use a little improvement. That said, my in person visits have always been attended to in a timely manner and I’ve found the wait times to be minimal if any, which is a huge plus.

Love West Coast Medical! I’ve been seeing Dr.Athwal since since she started and hands down she is one of the BEST GP’s. She’s super caring, understanding and takes the time to listen to your concerns. I fretted over moving to South Surrey and changing GP’s, but I know I’m in super good hands with her. I love that she actually cares about her clients, we aren’t just another “patient”. I have had nothing but a positive experience with West Coast Medical. I’ve gone through some really tough times and I am so glad that I have a doctor that follows up and reads up on the medicines that I am taking to ensure that there are no negative side effects. She’s the best of the best!I also love calling and booking my appointments with the front desk staff, who are super busy- they are always super friendly and polite, it makes our family visits to our doctor way more enjoyable.Thank you for all that you do for us! We ❤️ you and are thankful you are here for us.

I will say this Dr Sean Petrovic in the best doctor I have ever had , 31 year I have been seeing him and he has been my Doctor , since he was a fresh new face wet behind the ears on 152nd by semiahmoo mall,I love him as a person and a doctor , I just wish him and his partners would reassess the receptionist staff , Very rude, talk over you , interupt reeatedly ,8 calls over 1 small issue they refuse to even listen and then say they hang up because you wont listen to them???? ,terrible cusomer service ,2.8 for this clinic is because of them , hang up on me , and say we hang up on you blah blah blah , my sister is livid say how do they know you are not some person calling the Doc for help because you are suicidal , I am not but they have no idea ,TERRIBLE BEHAVOIR Receptionst need to be kind and listen to the patients they are the front line I am looking for a new Family doctor , They shuold be FIRED or trained properly..I will miss my Doc I drive from Kelowna even to see hime , he is that good of a person and doctor.

Dr. Mangat is so rude and condescending that I left the this clinic. I felt so cornered and belittled during a conversation with him that it felt like I was being talked down to by an angry customer rather than a concerned or at least interested doctor. I now have a new doctor at a new clinic and I’ll just say it’s not me, it’s definitely you. Bye bye

Dr. Mangat is a real blessing. He listens to you, makes sure you know you are heard and genuinely cares not only for your physical health but your mental well-being. I am so thankful to have him as my doctor.

Good Doctors, but they're regularly closed or don't accept calls during what are supposed to be their normal working hours so its very difficult to get in contact with them or schedule appointments.

Horrible customer service and docter left because we were 3 minutes late. They never take anything of our personal life into consideration but when it comes to them sometimes we have to wait 10, 20, even 30 minutes before they get to us.

Terrible customer service. I believe is the same lady with blonde hair when I was last time there. She was acting so rude and when I called today it was the same attitude. I called today to ask if they accept new patients and she said oh my gosh
