excellent staff very busy meeting elders needs

Go often for bloodwork in the lab and all the lady’s who do the blood work are very nice

I have come here several times for blood work, and even used emergency. I never had to wait long, and the staff understood my time was important.

Doctor was super nice and that was the only redeeming quality. Nursing were super mean and unhelpful did not tell us where to go or how to sign in just scolded us.

Poor poor poor service no help for over 2 hours when no one els was here waiting. Not a busy day at all, just like every other time. Such poor service and health care. Everyone there is just ther for the pay, no one cares about helping ones in need.

The staff at the Athabasca Healthcare Centre are amazing! From the time I arrived in much pain(dislocated hip), they quickly diagnosed the problem, and corrected it. Everyone was professional, friendly and very caring! From the cleaning department, security, nurses, pharmacy, Doctors, front end staff, and physio/occupational, all worked together as one team, with the common goal of looking after you and making sure you where on the proper path to recovery. My only complaint was that the bird feeders in the court yard where empty and it would have been nice to watch the birds feed outside the windows. Tried to get ahold of the folks at admin. but was unsuccessful in receiving a reply. Otherwise, I would like to thank all the staff for going above and beyond!

The emergency was wonderful. We are from Ontario, took our daughter in on a Saturday at 8:15p.m. We were treated with respect and the nurses were truly sincere. We saw the doctor by 9:45 and had a perception and on our way out by 9:50.

A great facility with an amazing team of healthcare professionals, including excellent health care technology.

Daughter came in bad abdominal pain that was going up her back also and she couldn’t breathe all they did was give her a slip to go get a ultrasound and NOTHING for pain!!! Just left her there all night in pain.
