Restoring the Famous Fisherman's Bonspiel to it's original prime bonspoel spot (after a 4 year break due to Covid) must have been a gigantic task! Thanks for the many volunteers that carried it off! Kudos!

Just got my Covid booster shot here and I have to say, I was impressed. The curling club is just a building, but the volunteers who were there were awesome and efficient! Thank you Kingston Curling Club!

Unfortunately, our experience dealing with the curling club has been extremely sad and frustrating. We had planned a New Years Eve Wedding there. The Venue was exactly as we wanted it, price was right and we were excited. We visited the curling club 6 months prior to our wedding, there was a concern then about staffing which was expressed to us so they wanted to have some time to ensure they could book some people. We had a follow up 2 weeks after via e-mail saying that they had secured staffing for our event (Wedding and Reception). A contract was signed and deposit given for the venue. We continued our planning, booking a caterer, photographer, sent out invites etc. Everything was planned all we had to worry about was minor things.This is when it turned sour! We received an e-mail Oct 11, approx 2 and a half months to the wedding date. Saying they had to cancel due to staffing issues, that our deposit was being returned. That they gave us ample time to re-book another venue.Not only was my fiancé devastated, we never even received a phone call to discuss it or see if we could figure anything out.Cutting our losses with the Kingston Curling Club we started looking for alternate venues. Unfortunately, they did not leave us enough time. Venues were all booked for other weddings, new years parties or dances. We found one location that was super understanding and willing to help. This new venue happened to be located 30 min east in Gananoque. The location change posed a new issue, our caterer did not want to travel the additional 30 min to and from to get to the venue. We lost our caterer and had to find a new one.In summary, we had to book a new venue, new caterer, notify all our guests of the change and have everyone RSVP again. Notify the photographer, hair and makeup and the officiant, of the change (thankfully they were all ok with the change). Cancel hotels, re-book hotels in Gananoque and travel to and from all the locations to ensure the space would work.This was beyond displeasing, please use this venue with caution!! We had a signed contract and provided a deposit and had a email stating that staff had been secured and we still got screwed.

Love this place, kind staff, washrooms, sheets kept in great conditions.

This is a true curling rink not an arena turned into one. Great view with the floor to ceiling windows and plenty of space to accomadate ever one there.
