You need to do much more than that , there is a lot of potential in the downtown but seems it is empty and homeless people around , where are theaters, not a single cruise ship ! where are the restaurants and festivals areas, do a flea market or gaming arena or new mall in down town , things wont happen by just watchingmy one star rating is not for the location but how it looks like now comparing to what is should suppose to be

I accepted my offer to St Clair months ago, I was so excited to start my new program! I am 22 and previously went to university in Sudbury so I'm not new to this process. My mom and I made a trip to windsor yesterday to view apartments and I'm honestly at a loss for words at the condition of this city. We drove 4hr each way just see small, disgusting, overpriced crack shacks. Don't even get me started on Marda Management, after seeing all the negative reviews, speaking to past and current tenants I'm so glad I didn't put a sight unseen deposit on the unit I fell inlove with online. They mixed in photos of a different (unavailable) unit with actual photos of the unit. Nothing was as pictured, and the office was useless. They changed and cancelled our viewings in the days leading up multiple times. The girl showing us the apartment was very nice, but it was apparently her first day (and first time stepping foot into some of the apartments she was showing), so many questions were not answered as I often got the response I'm unsure

We decided to go to a hockey game in Windsor. We were quite surprised that we had to go far away from downtown where are hotel was. The city is talking about the new hotels downtown. That's wonderful, but when we checked in and decided to go for a walk, we felt like we were in a ghostown. The downtown area didnt have hardly any shopping available. There was a few clothing stores, and the rest was restaurants and bars. The few places we could shop started getting ready to close. It was 6:00! I dud notice that on practically every corner there were people begging for money. Sad ...As the evening wore on we started to see a huge number of teenagers and young people going to the unusually high number of bars. Downtown was very small and had nothing really to offer us. We did go to the casino which was nice. I thought being near the water we would see marinas, maybe an aquarium exhibit like other cities. Maybe some souvenir shops, or clothing stores. The people we met were friendly but we wont be visiting downtown Windsor again anytime soon. Pity really..so much potential
