Great atmosphere and food. You can have a drink, a bite to eat and a conversation with no blaring music.Sue has the Currys and ole English pub food fown to an art.Highly recommend.

Stopped into The Shire Pub and what nice little pub. The Atmosphere was just like you would suspect from a few regulars having a pint of beer to the art on the walls. The customer service from Shelby & the owner was wonderful very pleasant to talk to. I enjoyed the 2 piece Fish n Chips and my wife had the soup of the day potato and bacon which is made from scratch and my mother in law had an order of wings.Highly recommend stopping by.Review will be on my YouTube channel.Channel 33 with Spongie

An established pub, been frequenting for many years and just gets better. Owners and staff are always welcoming, beer is cold and well poured, food is top notch made from scratch.

Such a quaint and friendly little pub, exactly what we were looking for after our hike! It was a set menu but the halibut bites and french fries were DELICIOUS and so fresh! Great service, clean, and cozy. I want to go back for the live music!

Dropped in for the Fish and Chips with coleslaw. The fish breading was crisp and had a nice crunch when cutting into it. The fish inside was flaky and moist. 100%. The coleslaw was fresh and dressing light to the taste. The fries were a nice brown but didn't seem to be as crisp as the fish. The table was clean, and the service was friendly and attentive.

The waitresses are above average in customer service and the owner is overgenerous!This is one of the most exciting places for myself to play music in the city of Cochrane. Check it out on Tuesdays everyone who enjoys good music, it won't disappoint you!
