Cocoa Tanning Studio - Yaletown
Poor service. Walked in and had to listen to the employee having a non work related conversation then was startled by my presence even though the door has a chime letting the employee know when people walked in. Was then told to fill out another waiver even though this was already done at Gastown location. This is the first tanning studio to ever require this when visiting different locations. Yaletown also does not offer the strongest level 2 bed.

I've been coming to Cocoa for about 3 years now and will probably never go anywhere else. I originally decided to check this place out when I felt very pale right after the COVID lockdown and thought I would just come a few times and then rely on natural sun... nope! I got hooked and have been coming here ever since. I alternate between Yaletown and Brentwood location, have also been to Gastown quite a few times in the past and had an amazing experience across all locations. Kerri and Julia are always super friendly and knowledgeable about all of the beds and products. All staff at all locations are great, I wish I remembered everyone's name! The place is always clean too and their beds are the best. Thanks Cocoa Yaletown!

Alison was so informative and friendly! Great customer service and product knowledge. Was nice learning about the sauna benefits as well. Overall lovely experience and very clean space. Will definitely be coming back again.

Amazing facilities and friendly, knowledgeable staff. I love the infrared saunas here - not only are they genuinely therapeutic to use, but they also provide you a private space to relax and enjoy some entertainment with the Bluetooth TVs mounted on the wall. I always leave feeling refreshed and rejuvenated.

Tommy and the crew are friendly, knowledgeable and always make me feel welcome. The facilities are clean, up to date and offer a number of options. Spray tan is quick and easy, be sure to wash your feet and hands and use the cream. My go to before I have any events or trips. Thanks team!

Went in yesterday because I saw they had great reviews! The girls working were so nice!! I told them the situation and what I was looking for. They suggest me some great options to do to help get the tan I am wanting. Definitely recommend everyone to come in the staff are friendly and it’s clean environment:)

Had my first visit and it was amazing. Ali was very warm and welcoming and fully explained the services I booked. The infrared sauna and essential oil towel post sauna was amazing. Finished my visit with a tan. Feeling super relaxed. Loved the treatments and the service, I’ll definitely be back soon!

I'd never tried tanning before but wanted to get a bit of a base layer before an upcoming trip to Mexico so went to Cocoa to give it a try. The atmosphere was super friendly and the owners and staff were very helpful. They explained all the different options really thoroughly before signing me up and assessed me to make some recommendations on how long to start with. I love that I can pay with bitcoin!
