We decided to start our weekend with a breakfast out somewhere and opted to try this establishment as it was only 25 minutes away and we like to support local businesses. We arrived at the restaurant at 9:10. There were approximately 12-14 people at that time. After 20 minutes the waitress appeared to take our orders. I ordered an omelet and my wife ordered eggs benedict. About 25 minutes later the waitress came by to apologize for the wait and told us that our orders would be right out". After another 30 minutes I asked how much longer it would be. The waitress checked and said that the order had not reached the kitchen and had not been started. In her defense she did apologize. My frustration comes from the fact that she told us that

Lovely pub and restaurant that gives you a big mountain chalet vibe mixed with east coast hospitality. Excellent place to stop for a pint on your way home from the hill or for a weekend drive lunch spot. Staff is very friendly and the beer is always cold. Certainly recommend you visit this hidden gem just off the edge of Crabbe Mountain.

The pub is admittedly very cozy but that is the only positive experience we had. We stayed there March 12th for Spring break to go skiing. When we arrived we were brought to our room which is directly through the restaurant and attaches to it. There were jelly beans throughout the carpet (our dog cleaned it up for us), there was a vomit stain on the floor, there wasn't a microwave, the TV didn't work but we opted to stay as we traveled all day with young children and we were exhausted. Then the live band started (albeit a good one) and our apartment shook to the music from 8pm until just before midnight. The public bathroom is next to our room and people attempted our room all night which we repeatedly asked them to move away from the door. After the live music, the bar stayed open until after 3am. We asked if the music could be turned down at midnight, 1am and 2am but it continued. None of us could sleep it was so loud. We also ran out of running water for a while. At 1am I booked another hotel for the rest of our trip. In the morning the owner said we should have known because his website clearly states live music on Saturdays as if somehow I knew that would mean none of us would be allowed to sleep or feel comfortable. I tried to get reimbursed for any of our stay but they have refused (charged us for three nights). It was awful but the worst part was we were made to feel like we could have predicted the situation and it was our fault for booking. I would never recommend this place to anyone.

The atmosphere is amazing! We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner there. There was even live music the night we visited. Would definitely go back. Thanks, Angela and John.

Spent a night in February and was very pleased! They cooked us a great supper (must be organized ahead of time, only when booking a large group) and the owners and staff were very friendly. Even had great live music! Very close to the hill. Better than driving back and forth to Fredericton. Wish them great success!

First visit. Great atmosphere, great service, great food. Will most certainly be back. Loved that it was pet friendly!

This is an over priced hostel. The base rooms do not have their own bathroom. You have to share a bathroom. The door does not make a full seal to the door frame and you can hear people talking in the next room as if they were sitting in your room. I would 100% recommend just staying in Fredericton, it's not worth it at all. There is also no hot tub like they advertised. Don't listen to what the owners are replying to other reviews its all lies and fake asking for pity. The owners need to seriously upgrade this place before they rent it out. There is also no excuse because the average air bnb is much nicer, the same price or cheaper. These people are renting out like 12 rooms a night. Just don't stay here trust me. I've never left a bad review ever before this is the worst place ive ever stayed except for the view basically.

I'll start with the good things: Good music, good beer, dinner was decent. Breakfast not so much. Bad things: The owner, John, is very rude and the rooms are complete garbage.
