Darren - HFS manager - absolutely the best. WORK WITH HIM!!!! HFS - installers - Tom, Andrew and Jacques - AMAZING! Such phenomenal attention to detail. Did a PERFECT - truly perfect job installing our flooring. Preverco Flooring Manufacture - created a custom color for me - nailed it! So exciting. The whole experience. Everything was fantastic. WE LOVE OUR FLOORING!

Disgusted in their customer service. I went to this flooring company last week looking for Vinyl plank flooring! The woman at the front desk was EXTREMELY RUDE, and not helpful at all. Then she told me she would go get “John” to help me. After hearing them laughing “John” came into the show room and told me that what I was looking for didn’t exist (which it does, and I purchased from a great company, afterwards) and I should do my homework before wasting “his” time looking for flooring!!!Not only is their customer service disgustingly rude, there prices are ridiculously high!!!!!

The sales（not a Asian guy) are very hard to talk, they keep talking “ We don’t sale Asian product, that’s cheap!!!” I was looking for a brand of engineer floor, this sales guy doesn’t know that, and then he just think about the Brand from Asia, and let me go. Terrible service ever！

Just had a second great experience getting flooring at The Hardwood Flooring Store. The owner, Ron, is a long-time family friend, so I made the drive from the west end of Toronto to Markham. It was definitely worth the trip.Ron and his staff hooked me up with a great deal. The floor I wanted wasn't in stock but it arrived within the week. Very happy to support a family business over the big box stores. I really appreciate their commitment to prioritizing Canadian and sustainably sourced products.

We recently purchased Preverco solid hardwood from The Hardwood Flooring Stores and couldn’t be happier with the service and product. Darren, amazing, very knowledgeable and patient. We install the floor ourselves the first time with a lot of questions. Darren explained and demonstrated every step very well to us. Thanks Darren for the product recommendation and your great tips and assistance. The new floor turned out awesome. I highly recommend The Hardwood Flooring Store. Good prices too!

I’m only giving this place 2 stars because Darren was great help. But the Preverco product is just garbage. Less than 3 months in the house and we have a dozen chips/tears that it’s a miracle we haven’t cut ourselves yet. If you’re thinking preverco make sure you also buy a ton of wood filler. Very disappointed in the product. Premium price but a garbage product.

We had a wonderful experience with The Hardwood Flooring Store! We started out looking for vinyl flooring for our basement, to go on top of a radiant-heated concrete subfloor. We visited several places and couldn't get a straight answer about installing on top of radiant-heated concrete - until we found The Hardwood Flooring Store. We worked directly with the owner, Ron. He was friendly, good with our kids (which goes a long way!), and incredibly knowledgeable. We avoided a disaster thanks to his guidance, as the cheap vinyl we had been considering would have failed on top of radiant-heated concrete. Instead we chose a beautiful, economical cork floor that is attractive, super comfortable, and waterproof to boot. Their installers were courteous and professional and completed the job in less than a day. We’ve experienced our share of challenges, setbacks, and mistakes throughout our basement renovation, so our smooth experience with The Hardwood Flooring Store was a huge relief. Highly recommended!

My first impression was that the staff was not as warm as I would like but I had great service from Darren. He thought ahead, had installers come in to meet my tight timeline, and made things right after a glitch (which happens in any business). Installers showed up when they said they would - very friendly. The floors look GORGEOUS!! Let’s see how they last.

The worst place to get floors & baseboards done! Their installer “Andriy” & his sidekick" are the worst! They're unprofessional

NEVER give this group of inexperienced, lazy and rude people your business1. Their customer service is nonexistent2. Their work is sloppy and LEFT UNFINISHEDA friend of mine contacted them for flooring to be installed in their condo. Nick left them hanging with an unfinished section in their living room. He did a sloppy job and then decided to completely ignore my friend and her family! The dishonesty cannot be trusted and should not be trusted in any home!Read the reviews on the page before ever contacting them.
