Woodlawn Bowl

We had our kid's birthday party and felt really bad for organizing in Woodlawn Bowl. Very difficult to get any information, very few friendly and helping staffs, rest all wears real bad attitude, I know they are very busy, but showing attitude to the customers will definitely make it come down drastically. People in the front desk should understand that they are there to help/support the customers if they are not happy doing it, they should move some other department. The owner was really kind, but if his staff doesn't act as expected, nobody is gonna come back. That's for sure. We spent approx a thousand dollars for a party, which we were not at all satisfied and felt really bad for having it there.

Worst customer service ever i had in my life. Extremely disappointedI had reservations at 9.15, I went there at 8.45They said have to wait for 30 minutes. When I reached them back after 9.15, they said no more games allowed.What is this?????? If they don’t want us as a customer, let us know before so we could go somewhere else.Nobody wants to give responseNot suggesting anyone.Looking for 0 star on review. Least i found is 1 star.Truly disgusting.

I took my daughter here because she had a great report card. When asked what she wanted. She choose to play games. While having fun she won a prize she wanted yet the machine wasn't working 100% but Reece and Tyler were 100% in everything. Long story short needless to say my daughter had the best time and we went home happy. I would recommend to all.

Had a good time. 2 hours to bowl is plenty. Walked away for part of the time to look around the arcade and won a Sanrio stuffy from a claw machine. $4.50 tall boys. Place was clean and surprisingly not extremely busy which is a good thing. Did not try the food. I overheard quite a few people complain about how warm it was inside. We were breaking a sweat. I would come back to see how cosmic bowling is!

Unexpected customer service in my life. Person was very rude he told us that no more lanes available we reserved already and still they don’t gave us lane and told its sold out. Please improve the service we wasted our time waiting there.

I have had a few subpar birthday parties for my kids here. But, my kids always have a great time so I haven’t complained. Today we celebrated my son’s 7th birthday at Woodlawn bowl. I booked the party 2 months ago, 1 month ago I realized I booked it for the same time as my son’s hockey game and rescheduled it for later in the day. It was to be in the arcade only. No bowling as, from my experience the kids lose interest very quickly. Anyway; I got a call this week asking me to confirm what time the party was booked for. I told them 3:30 - as that was the option they gave me when I rescheduled the Time. I show up today; they say, we double booked and you do not have a private party room in the arcade. we have you in the “lounge” (it’s the bar). I say. “I don’t really want my kid’s party in the bar. Are People are going to be in there drinking?” Staff say, “not really just ordering drinks at the bar”. And told me if people go up to the area to play pool I had to tell them they couldn’t play (what?). I express my disappointment at this time, I’ve got kids showing up and what am I going to do? Cancel my kid’s birthday? The staff say they have parties there all the time. I express concerns about not having a space near the arcade. They assure me the bar staff will watch my things. I have what feels like no choice as kids are arriving and my son deserves attention. We go to the “lounge” it’s the bar at the bowling alley. The bar tender tells the kids to be quiet and use their inside voices; when I tell them it’s my kids bday party they seem surprised and apologize.People came in and ordered beer. A few people sat down and had drinks while the party went on. we went on with our festivities- without any service or help with cutlery or plates unless asked.When we exited the bar, I went to get the kids arcade passes and was told I had to pay for the party. I asked at this time to talk about some sort of compensation as I paid for and expected and was promised a PRIVATE room and was given a table in the bar. And that the bar is not a place a mom wants to host her 7 year olds birthday. The staff argued with me. They refused even to discuss the issue with me and demanded I pay before getting the arcade passes. Telling me the kids probably didn’t notice their surroundings and that it wasn’t a big deal. I paid over $250 in total. No one offered to get a manager. One person took a new stance and validated my feelings somewhat. If I didn’t have multiple children stoked for the arcade. I wouldn’t have paid.Never going back.terrible communication, terrible service and zeroAccountability for their errors.

Nice place to go with your family and friends. It’s a bit pricey but worth it. A lot of fun mini games are there along with bowling. Had fun❤️

Had a blast!! So much fun...the place was hopping...great to see all ages having a great time

The place was great and the staff was very helpful and accommodating. I went with 2 little kids (6 and 2) and I liked that they have some things to help little ones, like the bars on the sides going up, as well as balls that were not too heavy. The only reason for taking out one star is because of the price.Including shoe rental and taxes, we paid $80 for 1h of bowling (the 4 of us).I would go more often if it wasn't for the price.
