Import Auto Parts is a great place to shop for quality parts for your foreign car. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and they have a wide selection of parts for a variety of makes and models. These guys (or one of) ripped me off by selling me a bad part and giving me a receipt that was different than the item I originally purchased, then tried asking if I wanted to just give them the part for free when I tried returning it. One good thing I'll say is that I saved hundreds (over $500 for the exact same parts) by going here instead of PartSource.Also, my mechanic/friend surely would have told me that he stripped the part since accidents happen, but I knew it was a sham when I looked at the receipt and it was listed as something else and the employee asking if I wanted to leave the part (for free).

First of all, regarding the negative review described below, I might have given the owner of Import Auto Parts the benefit of the doubt, but other buyers on eBay also complained of the same thing!Here is what happened:I purchased a $110 item (U-joint pair) on eBay from this shop. I decided to return the item at my expense for the shipping costs. After not receiving my refund for a month, I called Import Auto Parts, and the owner claimed they probably" never received returned item in the mail. I shipped it right from a Canada Post location with postage attached by the Canada Post attendant

My local garage could only find a transaxle for my Hyundai through the dealer for over 600 bucks, but import auto found one at 1/3 the price which they had in two days.
