Having used a number of movers in the past, I thought we'd already found the best company for our needs, but we was encouraged to speak with Ferguson by our realtor, and I'm glad we did.I met with Julian, who was the epitome of professionalism when he outlined the various services that he was prepared to quote on. He toured through our home in roughly 30 minutes, taking extensive notes throughout. Later that day he provided two different quotes based on different services. The quotes came in slightly higher than the competition, but we opted to pay more and benefit from the attention to detail and care that Ferguson's seemed to exhibit.As our family was moving to Vancouver Island from the mainland, there were additional logistics required (booking ferries over the Labour Day long weekend), which Julian took care of. As far as I understand it, he tentatively booked passage on four different sailings to ensure our move would happen as seamlessly as possible.During the day of the move, a crew of four moving professionals arrived right on time (actually a few minutes early), and immediately got to work disassembling and wrapping every stick of furniture and piece of art in our home. Everything was handled with extreme care, and the crew was exceptionally friendly, efficient, and conscientious. Our stuff fit perfectly on the truck that Julian had booked, without any wasted space.Everything was moved into the rooms outlined on each box, and any time there was a question about where to move something, the crew made sure to check in rather than just guessing. They did a fantastic job, and I have no qualms about recommending them highly.

Just a few words of praise will not do justice. So, here is the story of our experience:We have moved residence within a city, within a country and between continents and hired different moving companies and our last experience of moving with the help of Ferguson Movers has been the very best of all and would recommend their services in a heart beat!I came across their existence when researching on the net prior to hiring a moving company. Their website was appealing, very informative, user friendly.Upon contacting them, their response was quick, professional and confidence generating.Discussions on what we could expect, were detailed, very reassuring and personalised.I had read on their website that their rates were non negotiable but that their execution would be satisfying to us. I was impressed with their confidence and decided to take my chances. I had never ever done that before....take someone's word. I did.Everything was pre-decided, agreed upon and 50% advance paid up. They even provided us with some cartons to add to the count we already had. As we started preparing for the moving day, we realised we were short on boxes. Hesitantly I called the Manager in charge of our move. He responded by delivering the required number of boxes home within a day!Then Fergusons started rolling!They were punctual like a swiss clock, professional yet friendly, efficient without compromising on quality of work, meticulous and careful in their packing, moving and loading and unloading. Unpacking was done as efficiently as the packing, without any damage or breakage! Not a single piece broken or lost!At the end of the 9 hour move, which was very accurately estimated at the time of agreement, the Ferguson Team was still energetic, smiling, joking and enquired if anything remained to be done. Everything was good!Folks, I took a chance on Fergusons and realised that was one of the best decisions I took by taking their word for it, and they kept their word indeed!If you need to hire movers, go with Fergusons! You will not go wrong! Trust me! One of our best moving experiences ever!Thank you Fergusons!

They are efficient and fast. What list mo making happy is that I was never told that there was a minimum of 4 hours that would be charged! Ot took 2 and half hours and I still paid for 4 hours! Next time make sure to let your client knows. I personally think it is a ripoff!
