Friendly staff. I tried over 30 frames. One of the staff members helped me to select the frames which would suits on my face shape. Affordable! Way better than expected :)

Went to the McPhillips location for an eye exam and glasses for my son. The exam was completed quickly then we worked with Leslie to select frames. She was excellent! Patient, friendly, provided great suggestions and feedback. Leslie made the visit enjoyable and fun. Plus the price for 3 pairs was unbeatable! Definitely going back!

Dr. Jared Oliver is very friendly, courteous, and professional. He really wanted to make sure our prescriptions were perfect. Also had a great experience with Oleh, as he spent a lot of time with us and was very patient and friendly. Will definitely recommend them in the future.

I had my first appointment at Hakim yesterday evening and my experience was great from start to finish. Dr. Oliver and his assistant were both wonderful, warm and friendly and completed my eye exam quickly and professionally. I was impressed at the huge selection of new eyeglasses I could choose from and was assisted in my selection by Johnny, just about the friendliest person I've ever met! Johnny helped me choose the right shape and tone for my face and was very helpful and professional in getting all of my information processed. I can't wait to receive my new glasses and will 100% be returning to Hakim McPhillips for all of my and my families' optical needs. Thank you!

Super great service! Staff were super patient, lovely, & helpful when i picked my frame! I honestly don't understand why they're get such bad reviews. I , wear & rough with my glasses everyday never break them! fogging is annoying wit the face masks but i love my glasses!

Both my Husband and myself were due for glasses. Our experience was made very enjoyable and effortless by the wonderful lady named ( Zirka) that helped us from picking to the final fitting at pickup ... what a lovely person, she is very curious and knowledgable and we definitely recommend her and Hakim ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

May 14, 2021. Me and my wife went to HaKim Optical on. 1416 Mc Philllips, Winnipeg,MB. I bought one Glasses, my wife bought two. Within a year, my wife’s glasses had fixed twice. And I also fixed once for the frame was broke after a few months. Although I only wear it at home, surf the web and read books online. After Hakim repaired the broken frame for my glasses . When I took it back, I discovered: The glasses was slightly cracked on the top, I wear it on, and it did not affect my vision. So I just left it, and didn't bring it to the shop to ask for the fixing. Last Friday 12/08/2022. I brought it to the shop to show them, because it cracked too much. They said: They can’t fix it.Because it was out of warranty. I said: I won't fix it. I'm here today to tell everyone that: who fixed the frame; had done it carelessly, made my glasses cracked. This glasses I paid $447.30. Only wear at home, about 15 months, wearing a few hours a day, but damaged like that. If I wear it to work; For how long will it be last ? Hope everyone has a good choice.

Terrible customer service. I bought glasses for my daughter that were expensive but i bought as she liked it, the gave wrong advice. It was uncomfortable and broke and was under warranty. Its been 20 days i am waiting for them and she needs to wear them all day long. I called and the lady who picked up phone started making fun of me. They are forgetting we pay 650 for glasses that's why they are earning. Never going back there. Proud and very rude and unkind.

I just had contact lens training with Zirka and Dinnay. It was amazing! Great friendly service. Previously had eye test and glasses from Hakim and was extremely satisfied.
