Dr J Arlo Chinnery, Red Deer Acupuncture Clinic

I have had repeated cases of the painful shingles virus - all which have lasted for several weeks to months. I've had to use prescribed drugs to treat the pain until the virus worked its way out of my system each time. This time however, I tried Dr. Arlo's acupuncture and within one week my symptoms resolved themselves and I no longer had pain. I'll definitely go back the next time I get shingles.

After being diagnosed with a hip bursitis and dealing with consequent hip problems (sciatic condition) from driving too much (long haul) and not taking care of myself for about 2 years. Recommended by doctors at the walk-in clinic (our regular Health Care System), I was using prescribed anti-inflammatory medicine with very little results. I got tired of this I decided to go TCM Acupuncture hence I’ve heard so many recommendations on it.I called Dr. J Arlo Chinnery and explained him my situation. He recommended myself a therapy over multiple acupuncture sessions which I agreed.Two days after the first session, I felt the benefits of it right away. The pain started to decrease slowly. After the third appointment, I could even start watching TV by sitting on the couch (which I could barely stand more than 15 minutes since many months) and I could sleep my full nights without waking up because of the pain. Within the first month, my hip condition improved a lot. Many daily tasks can be completed now without feeling any pain.It has been almost two months now and many days a week I feel as good as back then before my initial injury (hip bursitis). The sciatic pain is now over. I only have to deal with little discomfort once in a while, mainly after fatigue kicks on a big day at work (Need to mention that I quit driving truck and I’m a construction worker now, so not that easy for the body but not as bad for the back and hip.)Lately, Dr. Arlo decided to stretch apart my acupuncture sessions. Overall, acupuncture has been a real revelation to me, it can relief the body from pain, takes the stress away from your muscles, cures the body and has a unbelievable relaxing effect to your mind, body and soul as side benefits.

My first visit and first impression of the clinic and Dr. Chinnery was outstanding. I have suffered on and off with back pain since 1983 & have visited many different facilities. This by far is at the top of the list and Dr. Arlo is exceptional in his care, understanding and explaining fully his treatment. While I found the actual treatment a little discomforting due to my recent injury, after it was completed I felt amazing within 10-15 minutes. Pain that was persistent had all but disappeared in certain areas. His shop is therapeutic and inviting, The staff are excellent and I look forward to going back for follow up treatment. Highly Recommended and I don’t normally write reviews, so he has to be really outstanding for me to post this.

I've been seeing Dr. Arlo for a little over a month now, I came to him for incredible shoulder pain and random curiosity. My shoulder pain is almost completely gone and I just generally feel amazing. I strongly recommend him for any and everything.

Oh, where do I start? If there were more stars, I'd give them!A few years ago I wrenched my shoulder. I went to my medical doctor, then to a chiropractor (4 times) with a few massages in between.
