It's been a while since my husband has seen Dr Mak and had a procedure done by Dr. Mak. But I can never forget that this humble, knowledgable and professional urologist treated my husband with great expertise and patience and brought my husband a healthy life again. I sincerely appreciate and highly recommend Dr. Mak! The reason why there are not many Google reviews is probably because most of his patients are senior people who don't speak English. As the last review pointed out, Dr. Mak is always on the rush as Dr. Mak is very busy and often over-booked. But this is understandable and won't hold my 5-star review for him.

Dad has been seeing Dr. Victor Mak for over a decade. Dad’s condition is stable. Staff are friendly. Dr. Mak is professional & great! Overall experience is still good but the wait time is just overwhelmed. We waited like 2hrs to see Dr. Mak but he only talked with my dad for 5 mins. Do hope this wait condition could improve.

As a Doctor, caring with your professional knowledge is very important. V.Mak did a surgery few years ago with my dad. He did not show up after the surgery and we even think the surgery was done by a different dr as the surgery left a damage to dad's private part. Irresponsible and unprofessional.Hard for me to call him DOCTOR.

Dr. Mak is a brilliant physician and surgeon. What I would say about the negative reviews regarding communication and being rushed is to keep in mind he is extremely busy and sought-after as his area if expertise is in high demand in the north GTA. When he found my tumour he had it removed within a month and has treated me for the last 2.5 years with no recurrences. Every year he checks new areas to make sure I am all clear. I credit him with saving my life and ensuring my future survival. Highly recommended. I agree the service at the clinic is not the greatest as he is always over-booked, but he is worth the wait.

Dr Victor Mak
Negative life-changing experience at Mackenzie health over a decade ago. Irreversible damage was caused. Dr. Mak often would look at his watch during 2 min follow ups, complete disinterest. It’s impossible for me to say anything positive.

Dr. Victor Mak is one of the most exceptional doctors around. His clinic is the most efficient and professionally run medical clinic I have seen -- thank you, Annie!Dr. Mak saved my mom, and he has a quiet intelligence, humble, gracious and so incredibly skillful. He is a credit to his profession, and other doctors can learn a lot from him.
