Amazing company to deal with. Their customer service is top notch. We ordered a custom boardroom table for our office in Nunavut and they were able to work with us to get us exactly what we wanted and help us out with arranging shipping from Ontario to Nunavut. The amount of communication that we received from Son of a Woodcutter was refreshing. My recent experience with businesses has been frustrating, so it was nice to deal with a company that obviously takes pride in their level of customer service and dedication to their clients. We were so impressed with the boardroom table when it arrived, that I am going to ask them to make a kitchen table for my home as well. Would recommend to anybody!

I ordered a custom dining table from Jack for our new home. It took longer than everyone expected, but seeing the finished product makes me forget about the long wait. I can tell this table is going to last a very long time and it’s exactly how I envisioned it. Sleek and simple. Thank you so much and sorry I ran out of patience towards the end. 10/10 would order custom furniture from them again if the need ever comes up. They know how to build furniture!

Danielle, Jack, and the entire team were fantastic in designing, building, and delivering our table. Due to unforeseen temperature changes, the table ended up having a small crack along the edge shortly after delivery. Jack and the team came to repair it at no additional charge to us. I ordered a black walnut dining room table. It is beautifully made and exactly what I had in mind. They did a great job.

We ordered a Live Edge Walnut table from Son of a Woodcutter. After a bit of back-and-forth, they were able to customize the dimensions for us, which included building a base that made the table bar height. We're so impressed with the quality of the table. The finished product is 48 inches wide, 32 inches deep, and 42 inches tall. It's beautiful but also sturdy and functional. It certainly makes a statement in our kitchen. It took a few weeks longer to build than the original estimate; however, the quality of the table definitely makes up for it. And the folks who delivered it were quick, efficient, and very considerate of covid protocol. Overall, we've had a pretty great experience and are very satisfied with our new table!

If you're looking for a beautiful high-quality wood table, I would highly recommend Son of a Woodcutter! We could not love our table any more. Jackie was extremely patient in helping me choose exactly what we wanted and they truly delivered on our vision. It did take about ~10 weeks for our table to arrive after having been ordered, but it was absolutely worth the wait. 10/10!

Everything from start to finish was perfect, the communication, service and the prompt and professional replies from Jacki (yes, Jacki!) was more than I could have hoped for. Finding the right standing desk was harder than I thought, there are so many different companies offering them (of course all claiming to have the best) and most with very mixed reviews. I'm so glad I stumbled upon Son of a Woodcutter, it felt right from the beginning and there were very helpful customizing my standing desk exactly how I wanted it. Needless to say I'm in love with this table, the wood looks amazing and the woodworking is exceptional!
