The International Apartments

Nice hotel in downtown Calgary. Quick check-in and when I had an issue with my room key, it was sorted out right away and a staff member came along to the room to check that everything was in order. The wifi works great and the included breakfast is nice as well. The hotel is undergoing some renovations so some areas are a bit messy.

We have a great experience so far. The receptionist and maintenance staff especially OG are very helpful and diligent. This place also has a great location and view with the common and amenities areas are awesome and welcoming, they are a big plus to the experience of living here.

My family have been living here for a year now and was an extremely beautiful, well kept and peaceful community. The office staff, maintenance and the guards was extremely accommodating, helpful and friendly also. Whenever we got problems here you just need to email or talk to them and they response immediately. The place was a good location, a lot of shopping, restaurants, transportation, parks and schools that are near. I would highly recommend this place to everyone.Thanks to all of you!OG, filipino Guy(other maintenance guy forgot the name), MENARD, JOY, REINA, and to all the guards also.

Joy and the staff are all very organized, caring, and intelligent at troubleshooting anything that comes up. Best staff of any building I have ever lived in by far. This is the example of how a building should be run, and I pay attention to the details! Great location too.

I am living in international hotel for past 3 months. The plumbing services provided by OG was fantastic as he was quite patient while dealing tap related problems in my washroom.I must recommend for all your plumb related problems.

This is our 3rd year living at the International apartments, and we could never be happier with the location and the amazing staff. Menard, from the concierge, responds to any requests immediately. The maintenance team is always around for service requests and repair. Shout out to OG, who is very courteous, knowledgeable, and efficient! Kudos to the International for having an awesome team.

We have been forewarned here on Google (not via the hotel itself or our travel agency) that the hotel is being renovated while still maintaining business. So we expected the worst and well...On the plus side:-We got a renovated room and it is actually quite pretty (even though it is still having bumps and scratches which would not lead you to believe that it is freshly renovated). The AC was working well (however wetting the balcony with the condensed water. Ugh!). This is the only reason for my second star...On the minus side:-The room was dirty. Plain and simple. Our feet were black after a few minutes. The towels had stains. The furnitire apparently was not wiped a single time after being re-issued to the room (except the fridge which was treated with something aggressive, ruining the brushed steel surface).-A non-functional kitchen (no running water!) which was compensated with 30 $ which-We had to spend again for 24 h parking in a garage that has a height of 1.88 m. That gives you the chills even when entering with a normal sized cars (see picture)The hotel is actually a dusty construction site. No clue who had the idea to keep it a running business during this significant restauration, but that is sustainably impacting the reputation of that place.

I've lived here for over half a year. If I've had any issues, the staff have gone above and beyond to be as helpful as possible. OG in maintenance is always pleasant, and quick to fix what ever your problem is. The Concierge, Menard, is alway friendly and approachable. This combined with full emenities and nice units, I highly recommend living here.

I’ve lived and International all together almost a year and half I must say that the whole team Joy, Menard and OG and all the maintenance staff are wonderful. The maintenance staff are alway accommodating and on top of things right away, even when you ask something and you didn’t book it they are willing to help. Joy is a really nice property manager and I know she really tries to make it better for the tenants.. Menard is alway so nice and responds to things right away. They all remember your name it is super amazing that they can remember names when so many tentant and it’s a nice touch. The place is very clean which I really appreciate it.
