Good bakery with nice coffee and beautiful scenery.

The place is very well located at a tourist spot. We tried the baklavas and found them nearly authentic. We also tried the “boker” with chicken filling and it was great as well. It’s a cozy establishment. More frequently visited during the summers.

Perfect spot to warm your heart with the best handmade fresh pastries and Turkish coffee in Downtown Vancouver. I tried pistachio baklava, coconut hazelnut baklava, chocolate baklava and midye baklava which was my favorite. All fresh and yummy!

I don't come to this part of downtown often. Fortunately I found myself at Canada Place today and stumbled upon The Golden Horn nearby. I enjoyed a breakfast of lentil borek with a cup of hot Turkish tea. The lentil filling was simple yet beautifully spiced. The pastry of the borek was wonderfully crisp on the outside and pleasantly chewy on the inside. Plus the serving size of the borek was impressive and made for a nourishing breakfast.All in all, The Golden Horn is a hidden gem amongst all the chain businesses and tourist traps in the area. Well worth the visit!

Baked goods at this turkish bakery are fresh and so delicious. I even liked the presentation of food and drinks especially Turkish coffee. Definitely they need to have more seating .Its located at a very prime ocean facing property but too far from the ocean. You can enjoy the views of north vancouver on a sunny day along with tourist and others passing by.Both sweet and savoury items are available

Fantastic baklava and coffee!It's very fresh and has a unique twist on the baklava. I'm a huge fan of baklava and have tried it in different countries and provinces. This is comparable to Baklawa King in the GTA for any of my fellow non-residents in BC! The price is pretty good for the location (in Vancouver downtown and at the waterfront) so do keep that in mind.Service is pretty good. Gentleman excused himself to pray Salah which was nice of him. The Café is adorable.Definitely recommend trying it out!

Came across this amazing gem at Canada Place while strolling and taking pictures!When I walked in, I asked what the favorites are, and was delightfully steered towards the sariyeh borek - a savory pastry filled with ground beef, onions, currants, and walnuts. It was also recommended to be dipped in their yogurt sauce.It definitely didn't disappoint! The pastry itself was flaky on the outside and soft and warm on the inside. The filling was well-seasoned, with all of the flavors blending well together and helping accentuate the ground beef. Dipped in the yogurt sauce, the pastry gained even more flavor that also complemented the savory nature of the pastry.I would definitely recommend this spot for anyone looking for a quick bite with a view. Their baklava and Turkish coffee also look tempting!

Turkish coffee was really good. However, the sweets were not the greatest. Many were over saturated with sugared sauce and lacked garnished nuts. The service was excellent.

The Missus and I were cycling thru the Vancouver Convention Centre area and stopped at The Golden Horn to reenergized for the ride around Stanley Park. We each had the chicken durum. They were fine and reasonably priced for the area. We will have to try some of the Turkish pastries on our next trip (especially the baklava).

This place is a gem for serving such amazing baklavas. They are simply delicious. I also like their turkish coffee and other baked goods.
