Upon researching highly rated reviewed places, figured I'd give this place a shot as I'm shopping for a new mechanic around town, so I attempted to get an MVI done and after waiting for the motor vehicle inspection to be completed, I was surprised with a 1k quote to repair my left steering rack".There isn't a problem with the rack and pinion on this vehicle so I went somewhere else

Needed someone to install Tien coil-overs on my 2009 Mitsubishi Ralliart, and they did an awesome job. Fixed a couple other things, all in the same day, and charge a very reasonable rate. Drives better than new. Will see how it goes on the track!

Charged me 1.5 hours of work for a 10 minute job. They were just chit chatting the whole time. They must have been high on petrol fumes. Didn’t seem like they had proper ventilation in their shop. They drilled into my frame instead of taking out a broken bolt without telling me. They used a tiny screws that will probably rust. Then I’m going to have fun trying to take it out later. Service seems to have gone downhill.

I had Raven Auto sports replace my clutch and suspension in my car. When I got the car back, there was a lot of banging coming from the back end of the car, turns out the muffler was disconnected to install the suspension, but was never hooked back up properly and one of the hangers was broke. So I had to take it to my local mechanic to fix. If they did a proper inspection of the work, they should have picked up on the issue.The clutch has been in the car for about a year now, and recently the release bearing has started to make a horrible squealing sound. I took it back to Ravines Auto to look at. They claim they replaced the bearing and basically, too bad, nothing can be done unless we pull the transmission out of the car to get access to it. That works out to about 4 hours of labour for a $60 part, which I was offered no deals to replace. The car shouldn't need another clutch in its life time, so now I'm suppose to deal with the sound, that gets so loud I can hear it on the highway. Talking to other mechanics and looking on forms, if the release bearing was changed as they claim, and installed properly, it should not dry out like this. Very disappointed with the results of their work.

I had an unexpected breakdown while in Halifax one night (seized caliper). A good friend recommended I have the vehicle towed to Raven. They fit my vehicle into their schedule for repair immediately, and had me fixed up and back on the road immediately. Couldn’t have had a better experience!! 5 Stars.

So far I'm quite impressed with Raven Autosports. Came in for an ECU install and tune on my classic car. Very knowledgeable people and I really like that they let me be a part of the process and ask questions. Learned a ton.
