Just recently left for another Vet. I have a dog with reoccurring ear infections. The office and Doctor refuses to give repeats over the phone. They insist on bringing your pet back in so they can charge you another hundred dollar visit every time for the same medication. Office staff is also not reliable, we asked for a copy of an invoice to be emailed and finally received it after the third call. Tried calling in to set up an appointment on two occasions and I was told they would call back, never called back I had to call back. Arrogant attitudes from office staff.

Appointments mean nothing to this place. You still need to call to get in, and they make you wait outside until they are ready - full pandemic measures are still in place? The last two times I brought my dog, they were over 20 minutes late, while I was 20 minutes early. My last visit where the vet actually saw my pup they didn't feel comfortable" with me coming to the door to pay the bill

The two best Vets ever ... BUT the STAFF are horrible, arrogant, deceitful, incompetent and make so many mistakes and then outright lie to cover their butts. We just had to leave (even though we loved the vets themselves) and go elsewhere. Please Dr. Sarah and Dr. Stuart... if you are reading this... you are amazing... but your staff is driving your customers away!

Sara and Stuart are the best, they provide all the options, explain what each one is and recommend what your pet may need based on your life with that pet. This is my 3rd pup under their care and I wouldn't take Marley anywhere else!

Dr. Sarah & Dr. Stuart are two of the most dedicated and sincere professionals I've ever encountered.I took my dog see them under the worst of circumstances and they truly saved his life.We moved and I continue to do the drive because they are the only vets I trust when considering the well being of pet and their fees are super reasonable. There's just authentic love for animals and an amazing staff at Appleview.

The fact we considered leaving and finding a new vet in the middle of saying goodbye to our little guy speaks volumes. This is a cold, insensitive vet and if you can do yourself & your pet any favour, do not go here. More detail below. We had to bring our 16-year old dog in yesterday to be put to sleep. Our family was really torn about this as it was the first dog we've ever had to say goodbye to. This vet still follows strict COVID procedures regardless of it being 3-years after our first lockdown. We called to be let in, immediately they mentioned how they were going to collect payment, and told us we could have 2 people in the room with him (while wearing masks). We entered and they were cold with no regard to the type of appointment we had. There were 3 of us - I waited in the hall while my parents went in the room to place him on the table and my dad said goodbye. My dad already told the receptionist he would pay prior to the appointment, but the receptionist asked me (this is the third time she mentioned collecting payment within 2 minutes of our arrival) if I wanted to pay. I let her know (what she was already told) that my dad would pay after he said goodbye as my mom and I would be the 2 staying in the room. After my dad left the room, my mom and I stayed in the room to comfort our dog. Amid loud talking and laughing going on in reception/back office, we did our best to comfort our little guy. The vet was 15 minutes late to this appointment which just prolonged the hurt. With both doors closed, we were saying goodbye, and were interrupted OVER 6 times by the vet staff telling us different things about how far apart we had to stand. We would follow their orders, then a new tech would come in and tell us something else...continued 6 times. The vet entered to inject the euthanasia and made a joke about a dog in the back not being happy about being spayed - this was not the time for jokes. We were not told how the procedure would happen when they injected him prior; but instead, while euthanizing our dog, the vet decided to share information very abruptly about how he might pee, poo, twitch, etc., as he took his last breaths. After he left us and we said our goodbyes, we left the clinic. Not a single 'sorry for your loss', condolence, etc., from the front desk staff watching us exit in tears. There is another review on here speaking to a similar experience and how cold this clinic was when dealing with the death of a family pet. We understand that vet staff are desensitized to this, but I think bedside manners and compassion go a long way. I had friends tell me of their experiences where their vets lit candles, had a light in the front to tell everyone to please be quiet as families were saying goodbye, etc. This clinic made an already difficult experience absolutely horrible. Will be sharing this information to whoever possible so we can avoid another family going through this.

I cannot put enough good words about Dr Stuart and Dr Sarah. Appleview animal hospital is the place where staff really care about you and your pet. The doctors here are extremely knowledgeable and assistants here are very friendly as well. The price is very fair and transparent, they never push people to do any unnecessary tests. I am definitely so lucky to have such a outstanding animal hospital nearby. After seeing such good care my puppy receives, some of my friends started to come here too. Thanks so much everyone!

Great techs and vets, I have four dogs and they all attend I feel very comfortable with leaving my fur babies in their care. Best Vet Clinic I found in Burlington. Large or small they are able to take care of all my dogs needs.

We switched to this vet lat year and have had a great experience. Both Dr. Stuart and Dr. Sarah have been excellent at their job and with customer service. I can't say thank you enough to this team for the excellent care they've given to my fur babies!

Our dog is a rescue so has all the (expensive) issues you could expect a rescue to have. We appreciate so much that we're always given options when it comes to treatment and there is full transparency around cost. We've also found they have great availability when it comes to appointments which gives us a lot of peace of mind.
