I brought a dress here to have a button moved to a new spot - it was $40!! That is highway robbery. She also didn’t do what I want but I had no choice but to pay and take the dress since I had to wear it that night. I have gone to other places who do a fantastic job with shortening a dress and sewing in cups and it was so much more affordable. Never coming here again.

I had them tailor 5 Hickey Freeman and 2 Hugo Boss Suits. They did an amazing job and they were very friendly. Trying on and fitting 7 suits takes a few mins, they gave me coffee and made the entire experience fun. They did a wonderful job on the suits and I definitely recommend them to anyone.

Abraham was very informative and experienced with knowing how both of my dresses should fit. His pricing is more than reasonable, and saved over $100 going to him rather than David's bridal. I can't wait to pick them up and try them on!

Had the most amazing experience with Webster Custom Tailor. My son bought a suit at the last minute (before a tournament) and of course the men’s suit store could not alter it in time for his trip. I had no idea what to expect needing an altered suit within 24 hours, while the owner was incredibly kind and understanding of our rush job. Not only was she kind, but she was also thorough and the details --- hems were straight and the stitching was subtle and consistent! It was more than a minor adjustment; it was a full-on tailoring job as the suit was a size to large (my son had to have that exact suit). They did a phenomenal job, and I will always recommend Webster Custom Tailor!!!

I have tried several tailors all over Rochester and this is by far the best. I have been going here for years and they have tailored everything from suits, coats, t-shirts, as well as dresses for my girlfriend and they come out flawless every time. I can't speak highly enough of the customer service and quality of this place. Definitely recommend over anywhere else.

I brought curtains in to be shortened. It was a big job, 16 panels. Turnaround was approximately 2 weeks, however it was over the holidays and I was not in a rush. Prices were very reasonable. We received everything neatly folded and boxed. The curtain panels measured exactly what I had specified. They did a great job and you can't even tell that they have been altered. The only reason that I am giving 4 stars vs 5 stars is because they only accept cash payment, no credit card, which can be inconvenient for some people.

I had my wedding dress altered and it was a great experience! My husband and I decided on a short engagement so I purchased a dress online and it turned out to be 2 sizes to large. Within a week, it was expertly taken in and fit perfectly. Thank you for making me a beautiful bride!

I was a bridesmaid in a wedding that we had to order the dresses online. When I received the dress it looked absolutely horrible on me. I brought it to Webster Custom Tailor praying that they could perform a miracle! When I received it back from them I brought it home and tried it on and the hip area still made me look much bigger than I actually am. I took it back and they were more than willing to help me out and without an additional charge. They did everything I asked of them the first time, I just didn't realize that I wanted the sides taken in more. When I picked it up the day before the wedding I was so nervous bc I was SO stressed about this dress. All of the stress melted away when I tried it on and it looked absolutely perfect. It was like a completely different dress! I received so many compliments at the wedding and it was all bc of this Tailor! I will absolutely be back!!

I took my daughter's prom dress in to be altered. All we needed was a hem, the women working quoted us $85!! I paid $15 to have my wedding dress altered 10 years ago, so I knew this was way too high. We left and went to penfield tailor. He quoted us $45! Huge cost difference! This place is way over priced. Hope this helps others.
