First time coming here and oh my goodness I'm obsessed! Honestly, I was very nervous coming here. But my friends kept saying how great this place was, so why not try it!I'm so glad I took that leap of trust and faith by booking in with Jess! She's honestly the sweetest person I've ever met. She made me feel really comfortable in the salon chair and made sure that I understood and was okay with every step that she was doing. Jess was very well educated in terms of coloring and product recommendations. She was very tentative to the pictures I've showed her on my Pinterest board and was very helpful in guiding me to choose the look that would fit my skin tone and face best!The shop is nice and clean, and everyone there welcomes you into the salon with open arms. Leaving the salon, I felt more confident and more trusting towards any stylist here at Amber Joy.You'll definitely see me in the salon chair again soon! <3

I have been getting care for my hair since the winter of 2022, and just got a Kashmir Keratin Smoothing Treatment. It was amazing. I really want to thank my stylist - Jessica - for everything she did for me and my hair! Honestly I have struggled for so long and it’s never felt this good and been so easy to care for, especially after a wash. My hair was a nightmare. It’s now becoming a dream. I have a way to go in long term care for my hair, but Jessica has set me on the path to healthier hair, which is truly confidence building. Can’t wait for my next treatment. Thank you so very much!

Extremely happy with my experience at Amber Joy & Co.!!! All of the staff members are sweet and welcoming, and the atmosphere of the salon is very lovely. I visited the salon for a balayage and I could not be happier with the results! Jessica was my hairstylist and she is genuinely kind, considerate, and very knowledgeable. I could tell she really cared about the health of my hair and took my ideas and wants into consideration when working on my hair. Also, the products she recommended for me are absolutely fantastic! After a 7-hour session, going from black to blonde, my hair still feels soft and healthy and the colour that Jessica was able to achieve - it is beyond perfect!! Thank you to all of the staff members that helped with the process - Amber, Tayler, Stephan and Sara! The location of the salon is great and parking is fairly easy. They have created such a beautiful, clean and inviting space where clients can visit and feel comfortable and taken care of. I left the salon feeling so good inside and out, and I am looking forward to my next visit. Thank you so much!!

My roots are dark brown. I got to this salon with a mixture of my own roots a bleached hair, I did myself 3 months ago and some highlights from summer. Sarah the hair professional did an absolutely amazing job. After being in Canada for 14 years this was the first highlight that was perfectly what I was looking for. No reds no oranges. Thanks

I finally found a new salon and stylist. The stylists work as a team and consult with each other. I’ve never had the level of time/detail that Amber and Ailiana provided. A full ten min discussion about process, technique. And I’ve never had balayage turn out so well. Ailiana is a dream. True artists and a lovely fun salon. Just go here!Lesley;)

Everytime i've been here, either for consultations or work on my hair, the experience is wonderful and very informative. Everyone is so friendly and nice!Sara did my extensions and they match my hair colour perfectly and they feel so light and soft ! AMAZING PLACE AMAZING PEOPLE AMAZING SERVICE! I would give this place a 10000 more starts if I could. I have been getting colour correction for a while and I hated how my hair colour looked like and only today Amber, Sara and her team brought back life to my hair! They booked me in same day!!! They did amazing work with my hair as well as they were extremely friendly and welcoming. I’m definitely sticking with this hair salon forever! Finally found a place with amazing services as well as amazing lovely people! Thanks a ton!!!!

Beyond pleased with my experience at this salon. From the front staff to the stylists themselves, everyone was so genuinely warm and friendly. But most importantly, the staff were very knowledgeable and efficient in what they do. I’ve visited two other salons previously where I’d sit in the chair for 6+ hours and still not get desirable results. I saw Jessica for a balayage and she was able to give me what I wanted in one session! She really listened to my wants, assessed the state of my hair, and worked on it accordingly. Will continue to visit this salon in the future!!! Thank you ladies!!

The staff at Amber Joy and co are the best!! Everyone is so friendly, knowledgeable and fun! I have been seeing Amber for a few years for hair cuts and I trust her completely! She pays attention to the details and there hasn't been a time I've left without loving my hair. My daughter recently started seeing Ailaina for cut and color and amazing! She always delivers on the color and style my daughter shows her. Definitely recommend!

Amazing talent works here. The salon has a great atmosphere and the stylists are focused on giving you high quality, modern styles that are actually suited and personalized for each person. I've highlighted and died my hair for years and at other salons have always felt like I got the same thing that everyone else had - nothing special. At Amber's, nothing they do is basic. And since becoming a client not only do I LOVE my hair, I also get more compliments on it than ever.
