I always get great service. The staff are very knowledgeable about the drinks and make great suggestions when I tell them what kind of flavours and strength I like. I usually go with what they have suggested and am always satisfied.

The staff here were so lovely despite being so overworked!! The cashier was simultaneously taking drive thru orders and taking orders inside AND making drinks! As someone who used to work for McDonald's, that is super unsustainable. But still giving 5 stars just because the drinks were delicious and the staff was super friendly.

I grew up in Dartmouth on Tim's coffee, but I've been living in Australia +25 years now, a country with prominent Greek and Italian communities. It took some getting used to espresso all the time. I am now a full time convert, especially of being able to enjoy a strong and flavourful coffee without needing sugar or cream to hide bitterness or bad flavours.Back to visit family I'm here over a week. In that time I've experienced coffee that smells like an old ashtray, beans so over roasted they're burnt, espresso machines dialed up so high the coffee is scalded, filter drip that's been left to sit and scorch for hours, bitter flavours and worse smells. No wonder I used to need all that sugar and cream in my coffee.I remembered the Second Cup from back when they were in Mic Mac mall and on Spring Garden Rd, so I was a little agitated and desperate when I found them and visited at Dartmouth Crossing. I explained what I wanted and they nodded confidently, We've got this".Boy

My lovely husband tried to get me a coffee in this place only to be mocked and humiliated by the person on the drive thru because of his English. He’s still learning and that’s not an excuse for anyone to bully and make fun of him. English is his second language, I bet this lady only speaks English. What a shame to have this kind of people serving customers, I wouldn’t recommend going there if English is not your first language, otherwise you would be laughed at your face and the lady would tell you that your English is poor while laughing at you. To be honest I would leave 0 stars if I could.

Love this place! They had a pistachio flavored FroCho and after time of the year was up, they decided to keep it because their customers loved it so much. It's so good - and this place is quite friendly with great baked goods and fun drinks.

The 3 girls working at this location deserve the highest marks possible given the swamping of customers at their shop this afternoon - they were clearly overwhelmed. I had to wait 20 minutes for my London Fog which is a long time to be sure but having worked in the service industry in my youth I know how tough it can be to keep up with the orders especially when you are short a person or two. I was patient and thankful at their efforts and my order was well prepared and delicious. Thank you ladies!

I was here yesterday and commented my server on the very nice service and even the feel of the café was comfortable.I find myself here again today. And the feeling is the same. I also enjoy how the staff interact with each other.

Our favorite coffee shop in the city! The vanilla bean latte is just divine. My toddler loves their strawberry banana smoothie and their hot chocolates are absolutely amazing. Highly recommend making a stop here if you're in the area!
