Scott grew up on our street in Cole Harbour and was a friend of our son’s, so when it came to real estate, he was our go to person. We thought about selling in 2020 and asked Scott for an appraisal, but ultimately, we decided not to sell at that time.Subsequently, we bought some land and decided to build our dream retirement home and would sell our home of 25 years once the house was completed. Scott was aware of our situation and approached us before we were going to sell and he told us about of the current hot market in the winter of 2021/22. Our retirement home was nearly complete by that time, so we decided to list.Scott was instrumental in advising us on staging and had professional pictures, video and cross section of the house posted with our listing. Scott asked us to leave the house so it could be shown over a 3-day period, which we did. Our house had multiple offers, sold over asking and was sold in eight days. When our family was posted (military) to the Halifax area Scott was extremely flexible with demanding timelines and tight schedules for viewings.
