Has been customer of this store since it opened, until I finally realized that this store does not take any responsibility for any of its product sold. There is absolutely no receipt issued to you stating what you have bought, so if anything happens, they will can just walk away, especially when they are trying to let you pay with cash. Also, nothing sold here is refundable or exchangeable, even its unopened. After learning about all this the hard way when I am trying to return an unopened mascara bought two days ago, I think it's necessary to post the store policy here so all the customer knows what they are getting into, not to mention the unfriendly altitude they hold towards the customer. Also, just FYI, their manager can never be reached as he/she does not go to store

Bought 2 vaping devices and unfortunately didn’t try them inside. Later I discovered that none of them works. No return policy is there for a reason, you have to assume everything is low quality in this store.

Service has improved a lot over the years. It really depends on the day and who is working. Some will follow you around non stop and others will check up on you once in a while. I'm just browsing for new stuff to try most of the time and usually don't have anything specific in mind so I really enjoy the girls who leave me alone and will answer my questions when I ask! Price is reasonable and less expensive compared to t&t and other stores.Note: Products are final sale! (That is why I browse and do my research before purchasing most of the time)My Product recommendations:- Heroine Waterproof long and curl mascara- Jayjun sheet masks (PH.5.5)- SANA foaming soy cleanser (affordable and decent)

I like this drugstore very much. There are many good Japanese and Korean products, including cosmetics, skin care products, daily necessities and snacks, etc. My favorite is the cleaning products area, there are a lot of products that work really well. Besides that the bath salt area is lovely too. When I buy products in the store, every time a customer comes in, the salesperson will try to say hello as much as possible. Although they don't often ask every customer what they need help with, they will be very enthusiastic to help you when you have questions. Personally, I prefer to be alone when I'm hanging out, so I think that's fine. Even if you didn't buy anything, they wouldn't be upset about it.

I have been here a couple times before and usually am able to find everything I need and the associates have been both helpful and nice. After yesterday’s visit I do not know if I will be back. I stopped by around lunch time, while the store was installing security cameras, which made difficult to get help or access products. However, what was more concerning was that for the entire ~15 minutes I shopped, one of the associates was being subjected to a verbally abusive tirade from the camera installer over a simple miscommunication. It was so incredibly uncomfortable for me as a customer and I can only assume worse for her.I sincerely hope something changes because nobody should ever be spoken to like that- and frankly its not worth witnessing as a consumer in exchange for a good selection and decent pricing.

They have a good selection of Japanese and Korean beauty products, including sunscreens. They have my favourite Biore UV watery essence!

Unless you are a Japanese female exchange student, I would not recommend shopping here.Granted, I am not their target clientele, but I am familiar with some Asian skincare. And so, I came here looking for particular items. The moment I stepped in, the first associate was shocked by my presence. You can see by the look on her face that she is not used to serving any other type of clientelle.Despite that initial unwelcoming, I took a quick look around under the watchful gaze of the East Indian security guard. I didn't really see what I was looking for, so I waited in line at ther cash register as the only associates on duty were both now serving clients. When the second associate was free, she didn't even bother to look up to serve me even though she would have seen me next in line. The security guard had to address me to get her attention though I doubt he did it to be courteous but rather to indicate that he was nearby and keeping an eye on me. The associate did come from behind the counter to answer my questions. However, I noticed that she was ready to leave after each question. I was weaing a mask btw, but the staff and guard were not.Since they didn't have my items in-stock and their prices were higher than other similar shops in the area, I won't be coming by this one again. So I left and greeted the security guard on my way out. (I don't know why I did that because it rarely helps to improve their security profiling.)Here are my ratings of this place:- welcoming: 1 out 5- atmosphere: 1 out of 5- customer service: 2 out 5- price: 2 out of 5- ageism: 5 out of 5- sexism: 5 out of 5- racism: 3 out of 5

They have a good selection of Asian beauty products. Too bad the experience of shopping is ruined by the creepy security guard who smells. Stop consistently staring at your customers like a weirdo! You don’t have to do your job by being a creep. “Other” glances every now and then and use their peripherals.

I love this store (the Down Town Location), as I have not visited the North York Branch yet!The shopping experience was pleasant, and the girls (sales girls/ staff) were very friendly and informative. I asked them for prices for certain items and also, I asked them to open up a wallet so that I could see what it looked like inside, and they assisted me without giving any bad attitude! Very professional!!! I bough a little pencil case and coin pouch from this store, which were both extremely cute! Although a little bit pricey, $ 17.00 each while in Korea they are about 9,00 dollars... but its understandable since the items are imported) ~ So do bring a bit of money if you want to shop here!! But over all great experience!! Will be back for Sure!!! ( This is a better experience than Pacific mall with regards to professional and well trained staff).

I went there 3pm Sunday afternoon, it’s obviously the business hour but the door was locked. I saw a head moving around behind the counter so obviously someone was working there. Somehow it was “closed”. waited 15 min or so but never opened. so disappointed coming from far.
