We were extremely pleased with the job recently completed by The English Painter team! They were extremely accommodating to our rush weekend booking when our previous painter cancelled and we needed to paint our living/dining/bedrooms in a tight turnaround before our contents were moved back in. They were friendly, professional, precise, tidy, and very protective of our new hardwood floors. We appreciated Gareth and team's flexibility to work around other trades on site (and to be honest, complete some of the leftover finishing touches like trimming the bottom off bedroom doors to accommodate our new flooring). The walls in our wonky old house had so many issues too, like cracks, holes and damaged plaster, and all those issues were addressed. At the last minute Gareth painted our fireplace (an out-of-scope job I had been dreading to do myself) and it just goes to show the extra mile taken to provide great customer service. Happy to recommend this painting company and I will use their services again in the future.

Gareth and his team have provided expert professional painting services at two of my properties over the past two decades. His team is honest and works hard to repair and restore your home to its glory days. As a woman, it is tremendous to have trades in the home you feel safe and comfortable with. Will hire again absolutely.

From being able to book the work within a specific time frame to getting the work done the English Painter team were fantastic. The father and son team from the English Painter were great to work with they were on time and very efficient. They expertly fixed cracks in the stucco ceiling and in the walls and applied several coats of paint to walls, ceiling and trim. The transformation in the living room and dining room is great and well done. I will certainly employ them again for any painting that I may need.

Gareth and son Liam painted the entire exterior of our two story tudor home. A challenging job with extensive preparation, primer and two full coats over the course of eight days with a fantastic result. They paid great attention to all aspects of the job. On time, spotless cleanup at the end of each day, solid advice, and a real pleasure to do business with. There is obvious care and pride taken in their work. We hired English Painters last week for some interior painting. The team arrived promptly every day and was very professional and efficient. They worked diligently but didn't rush and completed the job on time. With their many years of experience in the industry, they were able to provide some great tips on color options and finishes and other aspects we hadn't thought of . The procedures were clearly outlined and they even helped us move some big pieces of furniture for preparation. We felt very comfortable with the care and attention to detail they demonstrated throughout our home.In addition to their great work, they were extremely pleasant and fun to chat with. Very personable and friendly. We would highly recommend English Painters 100% to anyone. We will definitely be using them in the future for other upcoming projects.

Gareth and LIam from English Painter did a fantastic job on our front hall, stairs and upstairs landing. They fixed cracks in the walls and ceiling of our quirky old house, sanded, conditioned, stained and varnished tired wood trim, stair treads and bannister posts to make them look good as new (even managing to match exactly our wood floor stain) then they painted the trim, walls and ceilings up the stairway. Honestly, we feel like we have a new house. They cleaned up, worked around us - and everyone in our house including two dogs were home - and were a delight to welcome into our home. We'd recommend them highly. In fact, we've already booked for them to come back to do the rest of the house.
