Smokey's River Shack
The food is amazing. The fries are done properly, the poutine has plenty of cheese and gravy.The service was exceptional. Our order was taken quickly and was ready in under 5 minutes, and it was rather busy at the time.They also have a speaker set up so that you don't miss getting called for your food.I definitely recommend.

We are staying in the area and decided to grab dinner here tonight. So glad we did. The service was excellent, the prices were fabulous and the food was so delicious. Everyone enjoyed their food and some have leftovers for lunch tomorrow. If we get a chance to return before we leave the area we will, if not we will see you next year!

Awesome little roadside food shack.. We are from Florida and travelling through Ontario and this was the best poutine by far. The pulled pork sandwich on the homemade bread was VERY good also.

If you're looking for perfection in a chip stand, this is it! The poutine was loaded in layered cheese and gravy, with crispy fries, made with real potatoes. Mushroom caps were perfect little balls of crunch with soft warm mushrooms inside.Prices were great, service was super fast and friendly!My favorite chipstand around, and that says a lot since this small town is known for amazing chipstands. Worth the 20 minute drive out from Sturgeon or Marten River!

The batter for the pogos was out of this world. The gravy tasted like a rich mixture of beef & chicken. The fries were crispy. We will be driving here instead of Sturgeon from now on!!!! Better than the RIV!!!!

I recommend visiting this place at least once if you're vacationing nearby. They have deep fried mars bars. My daughter loved having something different. They have most of the regular options for road side fast food too.
