In the 30 minutes I'm waiting, I could have just walked home....Every week you guys fail us ~ thanks for the huge crowds at jane and the 30-40 minute wait. That's called sarcasm.I love, waiting 45 minutes for a 10 minute bus ride that takes 45 minutes to walk... could have been home by now

Hello TTC, it was around 7:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. today, I have bus 935 to Jane Subway. When I saw the bus had stopped, I slowly got off the bus, suddenly, the driver stepped on the gas, causing me to fall and my head hit the floor, my water bottle was also splashed on the floor. It's very painful, and dangerous for me. I didn't think TTC had such unprofessional drivers, he didn't even say sorry, and left right away later. That is too bad, very disappointed since use TTC. I hope that you should get the professional drivers for safety for customers

Legit one of the worst! The buses are horrible. Always packed getting on to and from the station. There's always so many people waiting at the station for a bus & there's never enough when it counts (ie. rush hour).

This subway station is clean and well-kept. It would be nice if the buses were within the toll zone.

Just your usual subway station. Small, conveniently located, clear signage to indicate where you're going.

Ah...Jane. Jane Station. Where should I begin with this local hub? This gateway to Toronto. This avenue to the homestead. East/West subway. Wheelchair access. And 5 bus routes. At first glance this dusty and tired old cavern might seem like a bleak tone poem on the state of TTC infrastructure... and it is. However if you look closer it’s also a muddied reflection of what we don’t want to see in society. Muddied? Or clear view? You decide. Dirty floors and walls. Infection laden stairways. Always-breaking escalators. Soot covered ceilings (where there is a ceiling) and a colour palette that would make Van Gogh want to cut out an eye instead of an ear.Jane. Jane. Say it... Jane. Sounds friendly enough. Like that harmless plain girl next door. But watch out for that creepy mugger’s delight of an access way from Bloor street! She bites! Jane’s got teeth! And not because of it’s often linked geographical far north cousin the maligned Jane&Finch. This is in Bloor West Village! Nice family oriented neighbourhood. This station is the TTC’s jewel in the local crown. Sadly the king is dead, and the peasants know it. Those denizens who travel daily feel it... and they show it. Attitudes reflect this the sad space. Crowds door crashing buses. Clouds pot smoke to dizzy old ladies searching for a seat. Pregnant women blocked out by giant bag swinging mouth breathers. Why don’t they just move further into the bus? Make room? Why? I guess they think if they are on the bus it won’t bother picking up any more passengers. Me first! Me only! When the 35 shows up it’s like a scene from Escape from New York. God bless the 26 and 55. Holy Saint Twenty-Six Defender of the Blessed Traveller. Take me away!Sadly this station has their share of surly employees as well. That’s low hanging fruit. Not fair. There are plenty of good, honest, helpful and happy TTC employees. Unfortunately the bad ones really stick out. But can you blame them? Working in a Soviet inspired bunker dealing with oft rude self-absorbed no-good-nicks? It’s a circle! Get what you give, give what you get.Naturally we riders ain’t all that bad either. Many beautiful humans travel this corridor. But bad apples spoil the basket. And if the basket is broken what do you expect? Trash is treated like trash. Fix the basket. Better the system. Improve attitudes. Improve service. Shine the jewel!
