Terranova Medical Clinic (No Walk-Ins)

I recently started as a new patient, so far everything has been fantastic, generally on time. Available parking in the shopping center across the road. They have both Physicians and Nurse Practitioners as primary caregivers.

Dr.Qazalbash (Dr.Ali) has been the best family physician i have had to date, they have a great team at Terra nova. Highly recommend.I can’t comment on the negative reviews, everyone has their own perspective of course. I have been a patient for over 7 yrs receiving excellent care from everyone I’ve seen. Over the years I have recommended them to family and friends without hesitation, makes sense to do the same here.

Updated review:Well I totally understand the shortage of family physicians in BC, but cancelling patients appointment last minutes WITHOUT notifying is a serious issue and that shouldn't happen. You guys had whole month to let me know if there was any issues and avoid cancellations. This is totally not related to reschedule appointments to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our patients". This is because of the miscommunication and disorganization.I was looking forward to find a new family physician in here but they just cancelled my appointment without notifying and I learned that my appointment was cancelled on the day of. I had to wait for so long and I don't understand that they didn't communicate with me. Now they told me they can book an appointment late April. Like seriously. No way."

I feel very lucky to work here as a MOA. I'm really thankful for the leaders who inspire and motivate us every day. The work environment is supportive, and we all work together and get along well, which makes it a great place to succeed and develop both personally and professionally.

I recently had the opportunity to visit Terra Nova Clinic with my family, and overall, it was a positive experience. The staff at the clinic were incredibly professional, caring, and accommodating, making us feel welcome and at ease from the moment we walked in.One aspect that stood out was the exceptional behavior of the clinic's staff. They were friendly, courteous, and displayed a genuine concern for our well-being. They patiently answered all our questions and provided clear explanations about the procedures and treatments. It was evident that they were dedicated to delivering high-quality healthcare services.I would also like to express my appreciation for the Nurse Practitioner who followed up with us. She was thorough in her examination, taking the time to listen attentively to our concerns and addressing them with care and expertise. Her approach was both professional and empathetic, making us feel confident in the treatment plan she recommended.However, I must highlight one aspect that left us slightly disappointed—the examination room capacity. Given that we visited as a family of four, the room felt considerably cramped. It was challenging for all of us to fit comfortably and maintain privacy during the examination. The lack of space made the experience a bit uncomfortable and hindered our ability to fully relax.Furthermore, the absence of an activated air conditioning system compounded the issue. With a limited amount of fresh air circulating in the room, the environment quickly became stuffy and uncomfortable. It's essential for a healthcare facility to ensure a comfortable and conducive atmosphere for patients, especially during moments of anxiety or discomfort.Despite these shortcomings, I acknowledge that Terra Nova Clinic provided us with exceptional care and service. While the examination room size and lack of AC were inconveniences, the professionalism and expertise of the staff, as well as the attentiveness of the Nurse Practitioner, made up for these shortcomings. We couldn't ask for more in terms of their dedication to patient care and well-being.Overall, Terra Nova Clinic offers excellent healthcare services, but there is room for improvement in terms of the examination room capacity and ensuring a comfortable environment for patients. With a few adjustments, the clinic would undoubtedly provide an even more pleasant experience for all visitors.

I have been to this clinic a few times and had no issues until today. I booked an appointment online and got a call today (days before my scheduled appointment) that my appointment has been canceled because the NP doesn't see their own patients. I understand, however they need to update their online booking to NOT allow patients to make booking if there are restrictions. Since the appointment is available I asked if I can book a meet and greet and the receptionist said that no one is accepting new patients, even through I've been to this clinic multplie times already and have already met and seen 2 drs. So im wondering if my appointment is canceled this time slot just sits open? The receptionist was RUDE, not helpful and kept repeating for me to go to a walk in clinic. Terrible service. System needs updating. Rude receptionist.

Dr Liu is the best family doctor I ever had. He is professional and really takes his time when talking to patients. He’s always able to solve my problems. Really responsible. Highly recommend to anyone that’s looking for a family doctor.

Terra Nova Primary Care is amazing my NP is wonderful I’m so glad I changed from a GP at another clinic to Terra Nova Primary Care . They care about their patients NP Mariko Miller is amazing she takes amazing care that she gives me , I know that I’m in good hands in her care . She is friendly and helpful makes sure all my tests are done, she keeps me calm and has an amazing personality. I’m so grateful to have her as my practitioner!

I see an NP here and have received nothing but amazing care and attention. I am always impressed with the staff at the clinic. They are responsive to emails and phone calls (an added plus is that I don't have to wait hours to get through!) And the MOA staff are friendly & kind and treat you like a human being, rather than an irritation disrupting their day. (All things I've experienced before.)Online booking is easy and seamless as long as you ensure you are following their rules" about booking. Email confirmations and saving appts to my schedule are important for me.My previous clinic experiences have been awful and utterly unsatisfactory in how they treated their patients. So I am grateful for the service and care I receive at Terra Medical!"
