Outstanding customer service! Whenever I come in with my bike they are more than happy to help. Their service is quick and if just a quick fix is required they would often do it free of charge. Extremely helpful and friendly. The prices of their services and gear they sell are reasonable and they also allow you to test it out. I definitely recommend this shop and will continue coming back.

I needed to replace the clamp on my bike seat, which other shops had sold out of, and was in a hurry. Service was very friendly, efficient and affordable. Google maps sent me to the back of the shop, so it took a minute for me to find it but it was well worth it - 5 stars for the service and price (its not their fault Google maps can be glitchy) Just make sure you go to the front of the store on Shelbourne :) I’ll definitely be coming back for any cycling needs!

Maintenance less expensive than other places, very friendly staff, fast service (no need to wait 2 weeks until next availble appointment). Not a 5 star rating because of a single thing - the chain looks super dirty while they claim they cleaned it.

My wife and I came in to find a rear bike rack, and we are very satisfied with the service. The staff was very supportive and friendly, they even check our chain and gears fo free. We will absolutely come back for further tune-ups. Highly recommend.

I'm still mindblown by how nice, competent and service oriented the folks at Mac's are. Great service, fast and reliable, always really friendly and that old school attitude where they send you to their competitors who will more likely be able to help you with that one very special issue they tried but couldn't solve themselves (and which is not due to them, but to the bike that had a vintage part they couldn't get their hands on). Being a traditionally trained, old school bookseller from Europe, having come up with the same collegial attitude - always the customer's best interest in mind, sending people to other stores if they were more likely to help them - I really appreciated that. That mindset is not for granted anymore, bike shops or book stores, and I will be back because of that (and all the other reasons mentioned). Five stars!

I had bought a bike from Mac Cycles back in 2008. I only went to this bike shop to get tune ups, repairs, get new parts, etc. I like to shop local and support local business if I can. I returned today with my old bike looking to buy a new one and be rewarded for my loyalty with a deal. I reviewed their bikes, they told me the price for what I wanted and I asked for a deal for my support to their business after 14 years. They offered me nothing except two tune-ups. Very disappointing. If you're looking for a bike shop that will be loyal to you as you support their business, Don't go to Mac Cycles!.. There are lots of bike shops in Victoria to choose from. Always a great experience at Mac’s! They are quick to welcome you as you enter the shop and make an effort to remember your name. They are great at communicating through the whole service and have accurate estimates. Thanks for the spring tube up :)

I brought my son’s bike in for a front break fix. The guys fixed right there for no charge as it was a simple fix. They were very friendly and helpful, I would highly recommend their shop
