My mom used Matt Steer from energy Werx BC for her pre retrofit energy assessment last month and he not only did a fantastic job but he stayed longer to help her with the greener homes grant process. Very polite, very informative. Couldn’t recommend highly enough.

Energy Werx is a great organization to deal with. Mat and Josh helped out with my evaluation and reports, and Tammy and April were fantastic at helping me sort through the grant process, and making sure I completed the required steps. If you are applying for federal or provincial energy grants, this is the company you need to use.

We recently purchased a new heat pump for our Victoria-area home and, in order to be eligible for federal grants, required pre- and post-installation home energy audits. We had an absolutely excellent experience with Energy Werx.Ron McLaughlin, who did both the initial and follow-up audits, couldn't have been more professional, knowledgeable and friendly. He answered all our questions, showed up on time, and did his work efficiently.And we were SO grateful that when Ron looked at the invoice provided by our heat pump supplier, he noticed that the model number on it wasn't familiar to him and asked if we were sure this model was on the federal list of approved devices (knowing this was our responsibility and the heat pump supplier's). Ron investigated the matter further and let us know that although the number was similar to approved models, this particular model was NOT on the federal government's list. Thankfully, we were able to change our order with the supplier to a model that was eligible. If it hadn't been for Ron, we'd be out $5,000!!! Ron also let us know about government rebates for the energy audits he had performed.As a whole, we found the company very professional. Tammy Wagner in the main office was very responsive and helpful in answering our emails and calls, and sent us step-by-step information on how to apply for our various government rebates.Highly recommended!

I don’t usually write reviews on Google but I received exceptional service from Matt. He was organized, tidy, knowledgeable, and polite. He didn’t just provide an assessment but took the time to teach me about my home and how to take care of it. Thanks Matt.
