Such a wonderful escape from the city. The fantastic stone fireplace keeps the cabin warm and cozy. Enjoyed many multi-generational family dinners at the large dinner table! Great family spot :)

Fantastic experience. The food was worthy of Michelin stars, (although I can't claim that i ever have eaten in such a restaurant)! Wonderful location. Friendly, knowledgeable, hardworking and helpful staff. The programme was well thought out and offered a variety of experiences,: walking, BBQ, sunrise and sunset canoe trips. It was the highlight of my trip to Canada!

In June 2016 My husband and I were married at the Log cabin. The cabin itself was more beautiful then the pictures showed and the dock was a perfectly intimate place to be married. The staff went and above and beyond to ensure ourselves and our guests were taken care of. The staff were very personable and made us feel at home the minute we stepped into the door. Not only did the staff serve amazing food, but they also helped prep a punch for after our ceremony and picked a few wild plants to decorate the dinning table. These are only a couple of the extra things that they did for us to make our day stress free. All of our guests had wonderful things to say about the cabin and felt it was a perfect place to be married if you wanted an intimate and unique wedding!

It's amazing. I went paddling very often and although I didn't see a moose or a beaver, I really enjoyed my stay.

Just completed a four day winter camping field trip; as part of my Outdoor Adventure Education program from Fleming College. Absolutely awesome. Beautiful scenery, dedicated staff, wonderful meals. I highly recommend them for a wonderful winter camping experience.

We spent two very special nights at the start of September at the Log cabin and had truly magnificent time. We booked online and also arranged a private transfer from Toronto to the cabin (and back again) - all through Voyager - as we checked and couldn't see any easy way to arrive other than hiring a car. Other guests did drive there so if you are happy to drive, it is accessible by car.The cabin has no power, which was fine for my wife and I, but if your device uses a lot of power taking videos and photos, you may want to take a back up. There was lots to see on our hiking trips and paddles, as well as the amazing people we met and spent time with in the cabin on the second day. Even though it rained and we were restricted with how many paddle opportunities we had, our guides Emily and Matt (amazing, beautiful people) arranged craft activities so we got the chance to learn something new and have great conversation.The food was outstanding - truly outstanding! Dawn prepared 5-star meals, and if you like strong black coffee, you will be pleased with the offering (available from 6.30am). A great way to start the day, fresh brew in front of an open fire. Emily and Matt were very helpful with getting the whole group into canoes and paddling around the lake, regardless of experience levels. It really did feel like a family atmosphere in the two days we had, and we left with some very special memories of the place and the people that made it so magical. Well worth every minute.

Refund policy is absolutely absurd and unfair. How can you not offer even a 50% refund for those calling in advance to try and cancel to free up a canoe for someone else. Booked a canoe rental and unable to go on the trip due to family reasons. Robbed us of $170 because we didn’t cancel 16 days in advance. 16 days is a little ridiculous. Anything can happen in 16days.Stuff happens. We didn’t leave this until the day before and not even a fraction of a refund was offered.Will not be renting from here ever again. Would rather be inconvenienced and bring my own.
