The new FLO car sharing program has been a game changer! I usually only need a car last minute and found I had to book the closest FIX cars in our neighbourhood several days in advance. That said, I've booked the cargo van to move furniture and it was a breeze. I've already used the FLO car for several last minute trips such as errands on the way home from work where my bike wouldn't cut it. The availability for FLO cars is fantastic and it is quick and easy to use. I hope Peg City will be able to expand to surrounding areas as I know a number of people just outside of the range who could greatly benefit from this amazing program.

Peg city car coop is the best!! They are a true life changer and saver. We decided to take the plunge and get rid of our cars and get a membership and boy do we not regret it! Access to reliable, newer automobiles (cars, trucks, vans, suvs, you name it!) is amazing and so easy to book online. On top of that the people working there are extremely friendly, helpful, and honest people who will always do whatever they can to make sure your reservation goes smoothly. They are quick to respond to emails and are experts at clear communication (something we should all strive for). We only wish we had joined the coop sooner.

PegCity staff is so nice, they always respond to my emails very politely, taking the time to answer to whatever question I have in details. The service is also great, at least here in the Osborne Village area, with many cars available within walking distance. The cars are well maintained and the prices are excellent. Consider car sharing if you don't need a car in your daily life. It's great and affordable :)

I love customer support, the purpose and the availability of vehicles. But I have had a past issues of reimbursements when owed an had to contact in order to receive my gas reimbursement months later. Also since the new app I can only see billing history for may 2022 and april 2023. I cannot even see any of my old billing statements. Those should be available to look at as well. Or at-least we should receive a compiled history of statements if one will not be provided in the new app. I understand it is new an It requires time but that is something kind of important. I understand log in issues but billing statements are important to people at times like this.

We have taken numerous trips to Provincial Parks for hiking, paddling, and skiing with Peg City Car Co-op vehicles. The service has been reliable, easy to use, and much cheaper than owning a vehicle. We look forward to many more adventures in Peg City vehicles.

Peg City Car Co-op lets my spouse and I remain a 1-car household, while giving me flexibility to get somewhere by car when he's at work if I really need to (like vet appointments - many cars allow pets in carriers/on barriers). We're happy with the casual membership because we don't use it that much and weren't ready to put down the share for full membership. I've had no issues with booking and using the cars and have had responsive service when I've needed to reach out to the office for questions. Living in the West End, we're within a 10 min walk of 4 cars so it's really convenient. We've also used the cargo van a few times when we've needed to pick up a piece of furniture from a kijiji score or a neighbor giving something away. I'm looking forward to trying the floating" cars once they're available this June. It's been so cool to see how this has grown from a vision to a fully functioning and growing service over the past decade or so."

Fantastic way to get around when you need a car to yourself. Great for grocery shopping and trips to places that normally cost high amounts of money via taxi or rideshare.

Not only do they support the community by helping to reduce the need for car ownership (which is a wasteful, exploitative concept that typically costs car owners over $9,000 per year), they also support shifting the culture around driving to be less wasteful. For example, their Instagram page talks about driving to reduce fuel usage and encourages people not to idle. There are tons of co-op cars here in Osborne Village, and every one of them is helping to reduce the number of personal vehicles on the road. I love Peg City, but I encourage everyone to bike or take transit instead of driving whenever possible (which is most of the time!).

Peg City Car Co-op rocks! We ditched our car several years ago and now walk, bike, take a bus or book a car to get around. The vehicles are easy to book, hassle free, and come in a variety of styles (cargo van, mini van, truck, car) to fit the trip. Oh, and the staff are super responsive and lovely.
