4 Paws Tree House Boarding and Daycare

I take my pup here for daycare & he loves it! All the staff are very friendly & I know they genuinely care about my dog. Their hours are perfect with my long shifts at work & my pup is always happy & exhausted afterwards.

My dogs love going here - they are always so excited to arrive and exhausted when they leave! There's no better feeling than knowing your pet is being well taken care of and having a fun day! Great management, they are quick to respond and always accommodate my two pups!

Our active sheperd mix Stella loves going to 4 Paws. Usually, she has a chill day at home the next day, as she is so pooped out from all the playtime.

I take my rambunctious pup there once weekly for about 3 hours. She comes home happy and tired!! What a win-win! And the staff are great!

Our cat Clover has stayed quite a few times at the Cozy Kitty Cottage. Clover is always happy to stay here and enjoys the window views and high cat trees! She is never stressed at drop off or pick up. She is happy to go into her suite when we arrive. When we pick her up she's usually perched up high on a cat tree or window watching. I am so glad she is comfortable and I trust Alissa and Kevin to provide the best care.

We recently boarded our 2 cats for 3 weeks. One cat needed medication a few times a week and they both got their supplements, treats, dry food and canned food with no issues. Our 2 kitties shared a spacious kitty suite with a cat tree for them to scratch and lay on. They provided the dishes and litter. We liked how the kitty cottage was a separate building from the dogs. I had asked them to possibly brush our cats if they had time because being long haired cats they get mats when they'd drag their manes through their food and water bowls. They both came home fluffy so they were def brushed. We had no issues with our cats over the 3 weeks. They quickly made themselves right at home and didn't want to leave when we picked them up! We would definitely board here again.

We have been taking all of our dogs to this Kennel for the past twenty years or so . This past stay with our ten year old Doberman was a lack communication and care for her . It started with the intake information being documented incorrectly when we advised that her food requirements be four cups a day divided over two meals which has been forever the same hasn’t changed in many years . We took the same measured scoop with a clear line indicating the amount she required. This was ignored as the Kennel fed our dog an average of 8 to 9 cups of food a day . ( still can’t get over this that no one clued in until they had to call my sister to say our girl was out of food .Her medication for allergies was clearly documented and written down on a yellow paper to administer 1/2 pill for the Sat and Sunday . The kennel gave her all the medication til it was finished. Not what we had documented or explained when dropping her off . We also feed her Raw Sardines asking that they take out of freezer two days at a time to prevent them from becoming rancid . Two for breakfast and two for dinner well they didn’t get this correct either given her 1 per meal and taking out ten or more at a time . When we picked her up Kevin gave us the glass container with 8 Sardines in it , they were rancid having no idea how long they were out and if they were ever in the freezer .These are big concerns given we trusted the kennel to take care of our dog and will add that we pay good money to have her boarded here .Unfortunately we never felt any satisfaction from Kevin as he was too preoccupied talking about the new computer system that they were gonna have installed . I still can’t believe that this happened and will not be using this Service again .Susan Cole

I have been told under new management so take all previous ratings with a grain of salt. Took our 4 month old puppy there for daycare 3 days last week while renos were being done on our house. Noticed he was favouring his left side after the third day. Found a abscess from a bad dog bite they didn’t even tell us about. Had to take him to the vet to have it drained and put on antibiotics. Was clearly a bite from a larger dog. I’m livid and will never go near this place again.

Update:Service continues to be great! Almost a year later and my dog and I are happy customers! Since my dog's first weekend stay, my boy has been back numerous times (usually once or twice a week) for doggy daycare. The prices are comparable with surrounding competition and they have packages to suit my dogs needs.Best part in how I know my dogs happy. If my boy is around me when I make the call to 4 Paws to book him in, he perks up and gets excited because he recognizes their voices through the phone. He's then wagging his tail waiting at the door ready to go!Original Post Aug. 2021I took my dog for the first time at Meredun 4 Paws for a weekend stay. I was so disorganized with paperwork and stressing out because my dog gave himself a hot spot from anxiety. Meredun 4 Paws went above and beyond really taking care of my boy. Highly recommend them as they cared for his hot spot and were patient with me. Once I picked my dog up he was happy, we've driven by their location as we live close and my dog perks up wagging his tail every time we pass by. We look forward to using their services in the future.

We have been boarding our dogs at Meredun for over 10 years now. My dogs are always happy to go there. They are well looked after and everyone there is very experienced and capable of caring for our dogs. Prices are reasonable for excellent care. I wouldn’t dream of going anywhere else!! A great job from a great team!!
