Master Painting and Renovations

We initially contacted Master Painting to paint our kitchen cabinets. Dave came out to give us a quote and let us know that they could do all the renovations we were hoping to get done.Dave and his team were able to help us with a kitchen renovation, flooring and baseboards. An interior designer was included with the cost and she made it very easy to pick all our finishings without getting overwhelmed.They were quick to respond with any questions I had and could problem solve the few issues that arose.I would highly recommend them for any projects you may need done.

I wanted a new kitchen counter and backsplash, new sinks and faucets in kitchen and 2 bathrooms. Dave and his team were amazing. They provided a quote and a work schedule which allowed me to plan my schedule. Jon answered texts promptly if I had a question or a concern. The quality of workmanship is top notch. Everyone I dealt with was professional and pleasant. I am so happy with my new kitchen and bathrooms. Thank you to everyone at Master Painting and Renovations! I will definitely hire them to do my next renovation.

After I had paid the quoted price in full, there was a small problem that Jon the project manager sorted out within the next two days. We had our upstairs main ceiling re-finished and our upstairs painted during a kitchen Reno. The dry wallers were awesome from Andre’s dry walling. The project ran on time and was completed to the contract specifications. Dave gave us the quote and Jon ran the contractors/crew. We are happy with the work completed. Thank-you.

We are very happy with the work of Master Painting and Renovations here in Chilliwack. They took our 1973 mobile home bathroom down to the studs and created a beautiful, modern bathroom that we are proud of. Everything was done on time and budget and communication was excellent every step of the way.

I was very pleased with the finished work: repainting all my interior walls (changing colours) & 3 doors. Painters were prompt, polite & tidied up at the end of each day.The 2 young ladies who did majority of the work were so quiet while working & did more than I expected in the master bedroom. They moved the heavy/awkward bed & frame away from the wall to access painting the wall. With pre: walk through it was discussed to just paint around the headboard, so I was pleasantly surprised with the finished work.When painting the interior of the patio doors, they removed the doorknob/lock which resulted in a good outcome.I gave 4/12 stars (down a bit due to price- which was higher than others). But I was confident with the work & the final cost was exactly as quoted.

Be forewarned. All their advertising says they honour their quotes, all of it. Within a few hours of showing up they said they had quoted wrong and I had to pay more. Then they said their quote was not a quote but an estimate. Nothing had been discussed that the walls may need another coat until they had already started the job and we had no choice. Totally unprofessional. Should have looked at the Yelp reviews before I hired them. In response to Amy saying work was added that is not true, you dont quote to half paint a wall. All the painters said it was a 3 coat job. You do not quote 2 coats on a three coat job. The time the job took for the 3 coat job was less than the time quoted for the 2 coat job. Games and false advertising. Also I requested low voc paint and it was not provided and we are having health issues now and during the painting. Plus they put 3 coats on in less than 7 hours when there is suppose to be 4 hours drying time between coats, probably why they took less time. I have also subsequently spoken to others who had similar experiences.

I found Master Painting to be reliable and super organized. I was on a rainy day call-out list during the summer, and due to dry weather, my painting wasn’t completed until September, which was fine with me. The staff did a great job of communicating during this time. The staff who came to paint did a great job and were very kind and professional. I felt comfortable having them in my home. They also had excellent communication skills, determining exactly the scope of work, as I had done much of the interior myself. An outstanding company!

Extremely happy with the outcome of our kitchen. Fellows that did the work were extremely professional.Dave and Jon were very helpful with suggestions.Did not give 5 stars because have recommended the company to a family member. They have sent off three emails with no response.

The master painting crew were professional from start to finish, maintained great communication and provided excellent craftsmanship and customer service. We highly recommend for your home renovations.
